News for November 2009:
- My last ever semester as a university student starts on the 9th! Excited and semi-apprehensive about it! Let's see just how often my out-of whack sched allows me to write, hm? On more pressing matters related to work, my mother's in the country and has started getting me involved in the family retail/distribution/manufacture business (small-scale eco-friendly products). Let's see if I can twist this into something creative, maybe do shirt designs on my spare time! -keeps fingers crossed-
- I now vow to keep the world better posted on my story-related life, so I've set up links to my LJ account here on my profile page (click on the 'Home Page' button or the 'Moonlit Musings' link below). Never really used the site before, but now, I need a diary, so... AND I've finally found a host site I like and can use with some measure of easy so I should have a proper home page up in a few weeks. Am still conceptualizing and designing and all that jazz.
- No special holidays this month to get me worked up, now that Halloween is over (though I'm slightly put-out at the low turnout for my holiday fic) so I'll try and get one story updated every weekend for this month!

Personal Information:
I'm a university student in my Senior (4th) year, currently residing in a small country in south-east Asia. My course requires a lot of reading and analysis of texts and laws so I tend to pick up quite a bit these days for reference in my stories of late. I just had my on-the-job training (internship/stage) last summer and this last year is the most MIND-NUMBINGLY painful and hectic so far. Thank goodness I'll be graduating in March '10!!
I am, most of the time, a moody, brooding, too-serious bitch. It shows sometimes in my writings.
English is my first language, though it is not supposed to be, technically speaking, my native one. I am currently taking lessons in French, and have been doing so for the last three years. With some luck, I will be able to incorporate that language into my stories, or perhaps, one day make a short fanfiction solely in that beautiful language. I'm contemplating Italian lessons in the near future as well.

Sacred Tenets of this Writer:
1. I write stories in order to express myself.
2. As long as a story is still listed as In-Progress and is at the top portion of my Stories Authored list, I'm not only updating it, but I'm also repeatedly proof-reading chapters and adding in new details that I hope make the tales more interesting every time you go back to reread.
3. I do give warning if I make any major plot changes.
4. I am an advocate of gay/slash/yaoi stories. As much as possible, I'm nudging my stories into more and more realistic representations of such relationships.
5. I'm telling you all straight-out: sexually-transmitted disease does not exist in my stories unless I explicitly state so otherwise in the introduction for that story itself. Any and all reference to the use of contraceptives, such as condoms, is for prevention of female pregnancy.
6. I don't write M-preg, and possibly never will. If a story or two of mine mentions that two men came to have a child, it's because of factors I will not mention. readers are free to interpret it as M-preg, artificial insemination into a woman designated as 'mother', the creation of test tube babies, or whatever else. I simply personally don't discuss the process.
7. I am not repulsed by incest. As long as the child, if any, produced from the union, is not ill or deformed, then there is no problem with me. Even better if there is no child involved, for biological mishaps are unavoidable in reality. If the couple is homosexual, there's no reason to be concerned. Though, I do prefer sibling-sibling pairs over parent-child pairs or others like that. I don't like those unless there's an actual basis for it - and it's not rape.
8. I believe in love as a staple in human society. There are no boundaries set by gender, blood, species, or anything else. As long as the emotion is pure and both parties are consenting and in their right minds, I'm all for it.
9. I am a student of history and culture and therefore do my best to inject tidbits of such into my stories.
10. I only write stories for fandoms (series or pairings) I feel really need an extra push or could do with a bit of my type of work. Otherwise, I'm content to just be a reader. And I am well aware of the limitations imposed on me by real life and the number of hours I can really spend at a computer. I have a lot of ideas, but the unfortunate truth is I can only turn less than twenty percent of them into readable work, given human time constrains.
11. I love it when readers are all quick on the uptake and are persistent inquisitors. But if a considerable number of readers ask the same question on a chapter of one of my stories, I'll address the issue/question in an Author Note instead of giving individual replies.
12. I absolutely despise flames. An alternative to sounding like a pig-headed idiot that does not understand how to properly critique a story (a.k.a. a flamer) would be to think a bit and write down a proper critique or review.
13. I rather enjoy PM or e-mail correspondence, even if I'm rather slow responding. My Inboxes are always full so it takes a while for me to read it all.
14. I generally update on Friday or Saturday nights (GMT+8:00 time zone).
15. I can be a careless asshole and so there are definitely going to be typos in more than a few chapters for the first few weeks (or months) that said chapters have been posted. Be patient with me, for I am only human.
