Author has written 3 stories for Tsukihime, Megami Tensei, and Secret/Legend of Mana. The facts of my identity are both irrelevant and uninteresting to you. Thus, I am yours, but only obliquely. I write short things, mostly. Short ideas that the mind seizes me with. Usually, when I write a short story, how I want it to end is for the reader to have some implicit understanding of how the subject's life has fallen apart. What I don't want to do is make an itemized case study of awfulness. The goal with an Oblique story is for it to end, and for the reader to feel this dread for the character's safety that they didn't feel before, and for it to just ponderously hang there. | |||||||
