You wake up on a beach, near to the water. You look around you and you see that the only other living thing, besides you, is a small tree. Hanging from this tree is a huge horn.

You decide for a moment if you should use this horn or not, but you want to get over to the other side of the water. You look out, and for the first time you notice a smallish island on the horizon.

You make your decision and walk over to the small tree; you take down the horn, put it to your lips, take a deep breath, and let it out. The horn sounds like a foghorn. You wait a few minutes, and look back out to the island.

A few minutes later, you see a boat slowly drifting towards you. As the boat gets bigger, you see a single boatman, using a long staff to propel the boat. His back is to you; he wears a long black robe, which covers his head.

The boat hits shore fifteen minutes later, you consider for a moment what to do. Making up your mind, you go over to the boat and start to climb in, but the boatman stops you. He holds out a hand and you look down at it. You notice that his hand is all bone; no flesh, no skin, no blood, just white bone.

You look up into the boatman's face, and see a grinning skull looking back at you. The boatman spreads his fingers and still beckons. All at once you realise who this boatman is, his name is Charon, the legendary boatman who brings the dead across the River Styx to the Underworld.

You ask yourself if you're dead, you feel real when you feel around to see if your hand passes through your body. Charon still looks at you with his eyeless skull, still beckoning you for...something. You grope in your mind as to what Charon is looking for. Ah yes, money. You dip your hand into your pocket, and come up with an old fashioned penny.

You hand the money over to Charon, his boney fingers closing over the coin. And this time, when you go to step onto the boat, Charon doesn't stop you.

It is a long journey back to the island, and you think to yourself if you are going to come across Cerberus, the three headed wolf the guards the gateway to Hades. All at once the boat hits the island and Charon points to the inside. The entrance to the island is like a cave.

You walk into the cave, and walk around corners, ducking your head when you come across stalactites that hang too far down from the cave's ceiling.

You hear a low growling, loud enough to make your bones reverberate. You start to get scared, the growling comes closer. You hear a rumbling noise that makes the ground shake. Up ahead of you, you see the culprit making these noises.

Coming from around a corner, you see what you have feared since approaching the island. Cerberus, the huge three headed wolf, has found you.

"Cerberus!" You hear, the voice is loud enough that you hear it through the growling, and rumbling.
"Come here! Leave the new reader alone!" You recognise the voice as female. The huge black wolf makes a few whining noises, before backing off.

"Ah, a new reader I see." The voice says. Reader? What on Earth...? You think to yourself.
The owner of the voice steps forwards, your brain makes you see your rescuer from the feet first. Wait a minute. What feet?

Instead of having feet, your rescuer has a tail, a long green scaly tail with a rattle at the end. You lift your gaze up to the waist, and you see where the tail begins. The top half of your rescuer is a woman and the bottom half; a snake.

Uh-oh! You realise just who this...person is. Before you can stop yourself, you look up into her face. You see that she has no hair, but instead a lot of writhing snakes are atop her head.

Medusa! You think, your brain finally supplying the name for you. Oh no! Don't look! You think, she'll turn you to stone. You quickly avert your gaze.

"Do not be afraid." Medusa says, her voice sounds like wind chimes. "I will not harm a new reader."
There it is again, reader.
"R-re-" you get out, you clear your throat and start again. "Reader? What do you mean?" You ask, careful not to look at her.

"You have been brought here to read my stories." She replies.
"Wait a minute." You say. "Didn't Perseus kill you?" You demand.
Laughter rolls out of Medusa's mouth, her head thrown back.

"My dear Reader." She says, sobering up. "Don't believe everything you hear."
You are left stunned; you look around the cavern you have unwittingly stepped into. Statues of humans are scattered here and there, some of their features are showing horror.

A few statues even have arrows through them. You look at Medusa's back, and notice that she carries a quiver of arrows. In her hand, she holds a golden bow, the other holds another arrow.

"If you read my stories, and leave reviews, I will let you leave unharmed. Refuse and I will turn you to stone. And do not try to escape, or Cerberus will rip you to shreds." Medusa says, before turning around and slithering away.

You look around the now empty cavern, and you see a table made from stone. You walk towards the table and pick up one of the many parchments there. You see it has a story on it. So, rather than be turned to stone, or eaten alive, you sit on the stone floor, cross your legs and begin to read...

Just to say that thirteen of my seventeen incomplete stories are on hold at the minute, have Writer's Block and can't think of what to write next. The only four incomplete stories that aren't on hold are: L. J Smith: Belladonna, L. J Smith: The Damon Salvatore Chronicles, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Sea Goddess, and Supernatural: La Settima Chiave Di Inferno. All others are on hold. Actually, I'm currently rewriting my Pirates of the Caribbean story, not really liking the way it's going, so I'm gonna change it. I've removed it from here, and I've posted the revamped version.

All ideas welcome and much appreciated. Just letting everyone who reads my stories know that I'm not going to be updating any time soon due to the Writer's Block. If anyone has any ideas as to what should be written next in any of my stories, send me a message and I'll try to work those ideas into my stories...just let me know which story said idea is for. :) Thank you.

As of now, all unfinshed stories are on hiatus, as I'm writing a huge Supernatural project which will take up all of my time. The only story that will be continuing is First Day of My Life which is the first story in this series. Basically, I'm "re-writing" the entire Supernatural series, in other words, keeping most of it the same, but adding in my own scenes, and these stories are self-inserts. There will be five stories altogether, one story for each season. The Untitled Supernatural Series is this huge project.

Daughter of A Shadowman - Forbidden Game fic. Ever wondered what would happen if Jenny had slept with Julian? Well, wonder no more, because this fic is about Julian and Jenny's daughter Julianne. And she brings someone back... Incomplete.

Illyria - Just a story about an Original. Vampire Diaries fic. Incomplete.

Late Night Visit - Vampire Diaries fic. Two years after finding and being with his soulmate Damon Salvatore decides to visit her. Complete.

Marie - Vampire Diaries fic. What if there wasn't two Salvatore siblings? What if Stefan had a twin? Complete.

Marie Part 2 - Vampire Diaries fic. Another Marie story, this time about Damon, Stefan and Marie's MOTHER Marie. What will the Salvatores do when they find out that their Mother is alive and well? Incomplete.

Nilsson's Turn - Night World fic. The title says it all. It's now Nilsson's turn to find his soulmate. Incomplete.

Princess of Darkness - Night World fic. Set between The Dark Prince and The Next Generation of Daybreak. An Elder called Laurana is Daybreak's top assassin, but when she is sent to kill her soulmate, problems arise. Incomplete.

Reach For the Sky - Night World fic. Sky Redfern finds that meeting her soulmate isn't at all what she thought it would be. Sequel to the Who Are You series. Incomplete. Please read the Who Are You series before this.

Gallifrey - REMOVED AND REVAMPED! When The Doctor and Martha are travelling in the Time Vortex, an impossible person shows up. Please re read chapter 1, fixed it again. This story was written before series 4 came out. Incomplete.

Lilli - Rose never went to the Parallel Earth at the end of Doomsday. Just romance fluff between her and the 10th Doctor. The Doctor is telling this story. Incomplete.

The Doctor's Daughter - This was written before the episode of the same name. Set with the 10th Doctor. Just a story about the daughter the Doctor had. In this story Rose didn't go to the paralell world after Doomsday. Just trying my hand at a new Genre of fanfiction. Incomplete.
