My dearest readers,

Let me first apologize for not being able to update so often. The
Novistadors didn't permit any updates. Sorry.

I sit here trying to think of where to begin, of how to explain in a few
simple words all that's happened in my life since I last updated, and
already I fail.

I hope this letter finds you well, and that you'll forgive the tangents
of my pen; this isn't easy for me.

Even as I write, I can feel the simplest of concepts slipping away, lost
to feelings of despair and confusion but I have to tell you what's in
my heart before I can rest. Please believe that what I'm telling
you is the truth.

The entire story would take hours for me to tell you, and time is short,
so accept these things as fact: last month a load of coffee arrived
and suddenly everyone was drinking it.

All my colleagues who had coffee were cheerful and happy for a while,
but it all changed as the addiction got worse. This addiction robs
its victims of their humanity, forcing them in their sickness to seek
out and drink pure Habanero coffee (which is, by the way, excellent).

Even as I write these words, I can hear them, pressing against
my door like mindless, hungry animals, wanting to drink the last
drops of my coffee.

I’ll have to drink it quickly before it gets cold.

I have tried to survive only to see you again. But my efforts only
delayed the inevitable; I am one of them, and there is no cure for
what will follow.

God only knows how many are infected, not to mention the countless
number of Ghostreaders that have been created. Their inhumane
activity must be put to an end. If they are not stopped, people around
the world could turn into victims of this crazy cult organization.

But in an hour I'll have entered the grocery store to buy more
pure Habanero coffee. By then I will no longer be who I am.
Please understand. Please know that I'm sorry.
