Reason(s) why I'm here in Fanfiction: I really need to learn to get better at expanding my creativity and see if I have the potential to make my writing a work of Art and Beauty. Most of my writing's, drafts, and stuff IRL is based on too much realism (Okay fine, I'm a realist). Plus I need some sort of project to make sure my writing skills don't get dull.

Little more about myself: Okay so I'm consider an Outsider and for most people, it's not a very proud title. But thats the best thing that describes me. I'm a loner and I'm loving it. How long I've known the Sonic series? Since Classic Sonic to the present. Thank Archie for giving us a story (Which I prefer. A good story and background) but, I still like the games.

What am I doing now: I am in the process of going back to my earlier chapters to correct any tense issue, possible misspellings, rearranging sentence structure to look a little identical to my latest writing style, and replacing jade/crimson orbs into scarlet/verde spheres. But EVERYTHING I've wrote and what you guys VISUALIZED will remain the same. I promise you. I'm just doing some tweaking.

Announcement: Chapter 16 might be published by next week. Re-editing and doing some snipping from one scene to the next. Sorry for the two month delay, I had writers block. Update as of 5-18-13: Dammit, STILL re-editing. Touching up Scene two of Chapter 16.

Inspiration Log

What inspired me to write...My Pink Roommate? Way back just before summer time in 2012 and this is pretty interesting, too. I was getting ready to write my first Sonic fanfic and ORIGINALLY, it was going to be a Sonamy story. After brainstorming for an hour just TRYING to come up with a plot and title, I decided to give myself a break.

And I didn't know why I thought of this but, I once had a long-lost guy friend and he used to tell me all his misadventures with his own roommate. And that didn't stop there, I had a few people also strangers in my life who used to tell me all the drama, humor, and romance they had with their roommates. Then an idea came to my head and next thing you know, I went back to my notebook. Jotting down ideas I was like "I want to make this as realistic as possible but, still want it to be creative in the Sonic Universe". So after coming up with a title and plot as well as the genre, I soon thought "What couples should I used?"

Sonamy didn't fit afterwards because I couldn't afford to make Amy and Sonic have a rough start like that, me being a little realistic. Thus would already make it out of character seeing as Sonic and Amy DO care for each other.

Then I thought of this...

"Let's try Amy and Shadow...they hardly spend time with eachother which gives me PLENTY of room for character growth."

And that's how My Pink Roommate came to be.

Greetings to the fine folk that moderate our site. Myself, along with many, have written and posting on your fine site for years now, some of the better examples of up and coming writers out there are now suddenly finding some of the stories we've come to love at risk of being removed without the chance to even rectify our errors. For some, that means the permanent loss of a story. While I don't have anything that I believe violates your terms of use, there are those out there that are never able to recover a story in its original form, this is something I find to be almost worthy of a legal action, as while we cannot claim ownership of a character, the stories are OURS and simply destroying them is something that is inexcusable.

It's quite easy to simply add an MA rating, additional filters or even a simple requirement for a free membership to read the stories presented here, and would cut down on hateful anonymous reviews and posts at the same time, so I have to question about why such a thing, in all this time, simply wasn't added. If you're worried about falsification of a registration then have an appropriate disclaimer and then there can be no dispute, you took your steps and the PARENTS didn't monitor their children, if that is even your concern.

If it is more of a personal view or desire then please at least let people know and give them a chance to remove a story that you and yours find offensive, most people on the site are actually rather cordial when it comes to such requests. While I cannot say for sure if this letter will even reach those that may be willing to listen, of if it's more akin to a wide spectrum purge in preparation for something bigger, please understand that you are going to be loosing a LARGE number of your writers, and thus your income from a lack of readers if there is not some level of action taken to help with this situation.

For those that may agree with this, please feel free to sign on and send this to the support server, maybe we can get some movement on this.
