A meat popsicle. This may or may not change in time. Outlook is not good for the former.

In other news, it seems that I still--still, damnit--fail to be an interesting or intriguing person. I also can't write entertaining biographies to save my life, which...probably shows. Um. (cough)

Aside from being a meat popsicle, I am also: a closet smartass, short, caffeine addicted, a wannabe poet, more fond of manga than Western comics (with the notable exception of Gaiman's Sandman, which is in fact the flaming wonder of this century), a music junkie, a lover of nearly all that is generally slashtastic and cracked out, and inordinately fond of characters who are either psychotic or brutally sarcastic.

I have two goals as a fanfiction author: first) to improve my writing, and second) to recommend as much work by other people as is humanly possible. For a long time I wanted to be popular and massive in the manner of some of the fandom greats, but upon realizing that this was never going to happen, decided to instead damn the torpedoes and stick simply with those things that pleased me. So if you don't like what I write, tough rocks. :)

Playing the Game (Yu Yu Hakusho fic)

Youko/Kuronue epic. Originally a one shot, this was meant to be a study of the characters Kuronue and Youko. It branched off eventually into the fic it is now. This is an older fic. Chapters 1-3 are up for revision, and I won't be posting new ones until they're done.

Sora's Folktale (Escaflowne movie fic)

Additional waves to Tommy2.0, who was officially my first outright flamer. I can't exactly say hugs are in order, but I do have to congratulate him/her on his/her creative use of adjectives, and also on having a magnificently well-polished set of brass balls--polished enough that he/she felt comfortable in private messaging me to tell me what an asshole I am for gracing the Yuugiou fandom with my work. Looking back, I suppose those comma splices were rather offensive (I mean, they certainly make me wince), but I really hadn't thought small grammatical mistakes like that merited asshole-status. Go figure.
