Congrats! :P I'm Tess, a college student, self proclaimed Theater nerd, and part-time fanfic author. I like angst, with a side order of angst, covered in those little ground up angst-bits. My Fics: Most of my current fanfiction is part of what a friend of mine titled The Moonyverse. To put it simply, The Moonyverse is a fanfiction universe that I have created where each of the Marauders has a specific back story and past that apply for all of the fics. It's not a challenge or a big-time fanfiction universe. It's just my little brain child. Also, it saves me time in the author's notes and summaries if I just put Moonyverse, rather than carry on and on about the matching back stories... especially considering I have non-related fics! Moonyverse Fanfiction Includes: Can't Take the Kid from the Fight- Oneshot, but only half the story. Centered around Sirius's unfortunate first weeks at Hogwarts: his family's rejection, his conflict between making them happy and being who he is. Title from Panic at the Disco song, Camisado. DISCONTINUED. Dance in the Rain- Oneshot, deals with Lily's rather unsavory coping mechanism after a year of total numbness following her mother's death. Half diary entry, half written prose. Title from Panic at the Disco's I Have Friends in Holy Spaces. A Falling Out We Won't Tiptoe About- Oneshot. Centered around the time that Sirius leaves home and moves in with the Potters. Title from a Panic at the Disco song, That Green Gentleman (Things Have Changed). I Never Gave a Damn About the Weather- Oneshot. Centered around the death of James's father. Both James and Sirius centered. itle comes from a Panic at the Disco song, Do You Know What I'm Seeing? It Was Just How You Looked in the Light- Complete. Ten Chapters. Complicated plot due to a change of heart around chapter 5 on the part of the author. Basic idea: Sirius is secretly sleeping with Lily. Remus finds out. Lily dumps Sirius for James, Sirius is crushed. It's revealed that Remus is actually in love with Sirius and they had previously been together. Happy ending. Title comes from a Fall Out Boy Song, Hum Hallelujah. Just like Broken Glass to Me- Oneshot. James decides to propose to Lily, and after making this decision he decides that he is not good enough for her. Deals with a hidden illness on James's part, and it has a happy ending! Title's from Panic's Northern Downpour. I Drowned Out All My Sense- In Progress, ON HOLD. Sequel to IWJHYLitL. Picks up about a year after the first one left off. Remus and Sirius are living together and trying to make it work, but Remus isn't so trusting this time around and a figure from his past is trying to force its way back into his present. Sirius is trying to make Remus happy but is finding the battle to be a difficult one. Lily and James struggle through an often rocky marriage, and an unexpected surprise is on its way. Predict an unhappy ending. Title comes from a Paramore song, That's What You Get. In the Middle of Summer- Oneshot. Lily wakes James up in the middle of the night, expressing the void that she still feels after her mother's death. They chat, and in the process decide on a name for their soon-to-be-born child. Slightly fluffy, quite angsty. Takes place in the same time period as IDOAMS is, but this little snippet never would have fit into the story. Title from Panic at the Disco's "When The Day Met The Night." Sheepish Wolves- Oneshot. Takes place about 18 years after the start of IDOAMS. Remus's rationalization over leaving Tonks. Happy ending, sort of. Title comes from a Panic at the Disco song, She's A Handsome Woman. Non-Moonyverse Fanfiction: Notepassing- Random notepassing between the Marauders. Rather amusing from time to time. Nearing completion at a turtle's pace. Unoriginal- Epilogue based musings of Lily Luna Potter on her parents' decision to name her Lily. Complete. Harry Finally Discovers the Rare Contact Lens- Silly story in which Harry's fanclub foots the bill for him to get some contacts. Ramblings of my 14-year-old self. Complete. Sirius Thoughts- All dialogue fic. Conversations between the Marauders at 3 AM. Written at like 3 AM. Complete. Haunting Childhood- Badly written story of child abuse in the case of Remus Lupin. Complete. Playing Favorites- Charmed Fanfiction in which I basically tried to make Chris kill himself. Discontinued. As of this moment, life has gotten rather busy for me. Adjusting to college life, attempting to find a job, convincing myself not to murder my roomie... The usual stuff. Updates will be infrequent. Many sorries.
