You've been FredsAngel your entire fanfiction career. So why the name change?
It's been something I've been contemplating for a while. Since I no longer write Fred/Angelina exclusively - and am no longer involved with someone who bears a resemblance to a fictional character - I figured it was time.
Okay, but why the change to THAT name?
Well, it happens to be a handle I've been going by for quite some time now. And with the exception of Jiberty Jabber, and some comic-related forums, it's the one I use exclusively. If you see that name just chilling in cyberspace, odds are it's me. Drop me a line and say hi.
Does the new name mean you won't be writing Fred/Angelina anymore?
Nope. I've found myself back into the OAS-Universe lately - with the exception of songfic that will probably get posted tonight - so yeah, I'll still be writing Fred/Angie.
How do you feel about JKR killing off Fred and hooking Angelina up with George. I mean, you've been writing George/Angelina romances forever!
Yeah, well, most of them involve Fred getting Angie even after George declares his feelings. Even if I've been on a George/Angelina kick for a while, The B&Q is still my primary ship. And it sucks that Fred died. But he'll live on through fandom.
You said you were no longer involved with Alex aka AngelsFred. What happened with that?
Life. Our relationship started going downhill not long after we got engaged, and we realised that we were neither ready for marriage nor right for each other. But he has a new girlfriend now, and he's happy. And I have a new boyfriend and am in LURVE, as Georgia Nicolson would say. We're still friends, even if we don't see each other often as we no longer live in the same state. But graduation and jobs will do that to you.
Has your taste in music gotten better, or do you still like crap like Story of the Year?
