I've always loved to write. Even when I was little I would write and illustrate my own stories, stapling the pages together into "books". As far back as I can remember, I wanted to be a professional author when I grew up. Unfortunately life doesn't work out like we plan. I wrote three novels, several short stories, and adapted one tale into a screenplay all before I was 18 years old. I entered a few contests, submitted works to zines, and also paid for the services of a small-time literary agent. And all I came away with was a stack of template rejection letters. Nothing out of the ordinary for a would-be author I suppose, but still disheartening.

After I went to work full-time (retail, blah) I was soon drained of not only time, but my creative resources as well. I didn't have the mental focus or even desire to write much for a few years – until I discovered anime! Of course I saw anime before (Unico was a childhood favorite) but around 1999 I became a full-blown otaku after falling in love with the series Gundam Wing. And once you're into anime, fan fiction becomes a staple of the genre, and I tried my hand at it. Despite a multitude of ideas, I still couldn't finish as many stories as I would have liked.

Work stress and personal troubles eventually led to my giving up writing, anime, and most online activities. In recent years, I haven't done much of anything save work, which isn't good. At all. So in an effort to bring some much needed FUN back into my life, I have returned to the world of anime and fan fiction writing. It will probably be a slow process since I am very, very rusty! I'm still bogged down by the frustration that is daily life, but I hope to be able to publish new pieces once in awhile. I am currently working on some fiction for my ultimate fangirl favorite title, Weiß kreuz.

I'm excited to be back, and look forward to sharing my stories with the readers here at FanFiction.net, who were always so supportive and helpful. Thank you to everyone who read my archived stories over the years, especially those who left reviews and added them as Favorites! I truly appreciate all the love!! :)
