This Is Me

So, umm...where to start? Well, I'm TerraChasma, a Latin name meaning 'Earthquake', or when literally translated, 'Earth Chasm', although my real name is Jess, and I live somewhere in the murky depths of the UK. I have an unhealthy obssession with both the original Primeval and the spin-off, Primeval: New World, a rather worrying love for all things Canadian and a passion for conservation, prehistory and David Attenborough. I love both reading (mainly adventure, sci-fi or both) and writing (both fanfiction and original fiction), which is the reason I joined this site, although as of right now I don't have anything posted. I can speak a bit of Spanish and French, alongside fluent Sarcasm, Nerd-Speak and Fangirl. Oh, and let's not forget English!

Two words: Caffeine. Monster. I couldn't live without coffee. I spend far too much time on the computer, mostly on fanfiction.net, or sometimes on archiveofourown.org - if you have an account on there, you can find me under the same name (TerraChasma). I'm (generally) a very friendly person, and I promise I don't bite (much).

One thing I can't stand is flamers. When I review a story, however bad it is, I'll be honest, but I will try to leave constructive critiscm. Please don't take it the wrong way; I don't flame stories. I do, however, tell the truth. If I think your grammar sucks, your O/C is a Mary Sue, your story has no plot, I'll tell you, along with comments on how to improve your work. If you think my review on your story has come across as a flame, please message me and if I agree with you, I'm happy to apologise and hopefully make amends.

So, in general, TerraChasma: sci-fi addict, science geek, coffee lover, fangirl. Well, when you put it like that...

My Works In Progress

This is a list of stories I'm currently working on, not including the ones I have posted that are currently on hiatus. There's more information on those a bit further down.

Primeval New World - The Fall of Angels (Working Title): A split-second can change a lifetime. A wound may be closed, but that doesn't mean it's healed. Once again, fate strikes when Evan's at his most vulnerable, dealing a fatal blow that he's not sure he can ever recover from. Everything he's ever known is thrown out of the window as he hears that small, heartbroken voice, no more than a whisper in the silence, tear his world apart. "Evan...I'm never going to walk again," [Dyvan].

Primeval New World - Fatal Velocity: A series of thirty oneshots, each one based around a song by the band Poets of The Fall. Lots of different themes, some trigger warnings [Dyvan].
