Author has written 3 stories for Hunger Games.
Hey there! If you are reading this you probably have read one of my stories, which I want to thank you for. You also must of either liked it to be looking for more or stories of the same topic, or you hated it and are wondering what the messed up person is like that wrote the dirt that you just read. I'm hoping it's the first. My name is Abbi, yes, with just an 'i', my spelling check is working just fine, thank you very much. So, anyways, read on for more, uh, interesting stuff about moi!
Thirteen. Give me a chance though. We are, well, I'm speaking for the girls at least, much more mature and intelligent than you guys give us credit for.
New England. I'm not telling you where I live. You don't need to know. Just know that people live there two, not only California where most stories take place. I also live on a lake!
Runner. I do track. The 200 meter dash is my race. I love running. I live by it.
Soccer. Enough with the idiotic 'soccer is a girl sport' because, news flash, we don't care what you think. I love the sport. Get over it. I won't judge you so why judge me?
Music. It's my life. I am a songwriter as well singer. Most songs in my pieces will be by me. That means you can't have them! My favorite band is The Fray. Artist, well, Taylor Swift. Some of my favorite songs are Sciene and Faith -The Script, She (for Liz) -Parachute, Shake it Out- Florence and The Machine, Drops of Jupiter -Train, All Too Well - Taylor Swift, adhesive Fighter- The Fray, and Glitter in the Air-Pink.
Writing. As you know, I write songs and stories. I am also a big time poet and poetry lover and have been in the Young American Poetry Digest three times. My favorite poem is an unnamed metaphoric and smilie poem by Emily Dickinson a sunset.
Food. Food! Ah, where to begin. I love cooking. I love baking. I love the Food Network. I love eating. I love looking at food. It's such a visual thing. It is an art, well, then again, that's why they call it the culinary arts.
School. You know, if there is one thing that I am tired of is when people say they hate school. Personally, I love it. Think about it, without school, you wouldn't have met a lot of your friends, you wouldn't get to see them everyday, you wouldn't get the priceless memories. I get that homework and tests can be very annoying and stressful, but I have good grades and I think it's all pretty easy, so, yeah... I don't know where I was going with that. Maybe that school isn't hard for me...?
Friends. I love friends. I love the memories, the laughs, the smiles, and the stupid things that we have done together.
Purple. This is my favorite color. It reminds me of being different. There is not one color that purple belongs to or fits with, like yellow and green, but it manages to combine with other colors and be unique.
Competitiveness. I am probably one of the most competitive people you will ever meet. Enough said.
Judgement. I absolutely hate the fact that people judge others. One of the most irritating judgements is about weight and looks. Everyone compares themselves to Hollywood stars that are super skinny and use an obsessive amount of makeup or are unhealthily muscular. I, for one, are a tall for my age girl with extremely toned muscular legs. I am so sick and tired of not being able to find any pants or shorts that look good on me or don't fit right because the makers of the clothes expect everyone to be a size 00 or to be able to where skinny jeans. Ugh. Get over the fact that this is reality, people, noFAA Barbie collection.
Love. I think that love is a magical thing and that everyone can find love. Love is about patience. One reason why this world is in debt of true love is because people rush to find it and end up with wrong person. True love is not about being able to marry young or anything, but being able to come oveThant obstacle. I also think that there is a differennet between love someone or something and being in love. You can love your best friend, even if you are a guy and she is a girl, or vise versa, but not be in love.
Me. I do not where make up or dresses. I speak my mind. I am headstrong. I am proud. I am a good student. I am a friend of all, it doesn't matter who you are or what you have done. I hate the fact that people judge people because of what they wear, what color skin they have, where they are from, what religion they follow, etc.
I'm the girl in your English class, who, when you are giving a report, you look directly at, because you know that she is listening.
I'm the girl that you take up with you when you make an announcement in front of a group of people, just to stand there, because you know that she will pick you up if you stumble or trip.
I'm the girl you trust with all your secrets and promises.
I love our country. Some people may say that I am young and naive to our economy or government, but I'm not talking about that stuff. I'm talking about how lucky we are to live in one of the most diverse, beautiful countries in the world. We are extremely lucky to live in a country without forced military entry. This is because there are so many volunteers to die for our country. So, if this country is worth dying for, than it should be worth celebrating.

No swearing. (I'm thirteen! I already hear enough of it from Nicki Minaj.)
