Author has written 2 stories for Persuasion, and Anne of Green Gables series.

I am a scientist who believes in giving the right side of my brain regular exercise. Writing technical (hopefully non-fiction) articles for scholarly journals is part of my daily life. I am used to, and appreciate the value of, critical reviews. My writing has been rejected more times than it has been accepted, and I learn more from the rejections. So keep the reviews on my fan fiction coming please! Reading has always been my favorite past time, and my bookshelves contain an eclectic mix. I enjoy mystery, fantasy, westerns, classics, and espionage. I tend to think of an entire series as a single book. So to my mind, Harry Potter should be read as a 7 chapter book with multiple sub-chapters. I own an ebook reader, but feel sensory deprivation every time I use it. I can see the words, but I miss the smell of a book that has aged gracefully, the sound of pages rustling drying and the crackling of a well broken in spine, and the feel of the rough textured pages in my hands. For the record, I don't taste my books.

1. Gilbert of Blythe Farm » reviews
The other side of Anne of Green Gables, Gilbert's side. Following the same chronology as AOGG, but told from the perspective of Gilbert and his family. Some characters you know and love, plus a few others I took the liberty to expand considerably. The characters belong to L.M. Montgomery, and I thank her family for allowing my imagination to soar in Avonlea.
