Why, hello, there, curious reader. I guess you've come to find out a little bit about me.

My name is Kylie. I'm a student. I've been writing since a very young age and it has been proven to be my "gift". My favorite genres of books are fantasy, mystery, and romance, but never straight; the mixed books are usually better, anyway. I've studied psychology, literature, and have dabbled in other things, and I consider myself an intellect. I detest stupidity, but will warm up quickly to you if you show promise of wit, talent, or poise. At times, I am very cold and serious, but I am also highly excitable, marveling at seemingly trite things. I am also an artist, a painter, with sketchbooks full of both crap and loveliness. I've played piano for 9 years, clarinet, 3, and enjoy music with depth to it, which I also appreciate in people. Oh, yes. And I collect pigs.

I've come and gone on this site, and this account has seen many crap stories as well as shiny pieces. My novel has taken up my time in recent months, but writing and receiving criticism here has given me invaluable experience and insight. I don't think I'll ever truly leave. :3

Ice storm hit, currently at a bad point with my novel, so guess what? I've rewritten 70 percent of the next two chapters and will be posting them as soon as the wireless internet is up again [it is. And when I finish the other 30.

My only concern is that maybe my writing has changed too much? I really hope not, because after rereading the current chapters, it was really nice writing.
