Greetings, lovely people of the world!

So hi. I'm GirlInTheBlueHoodie, or GirlInTheBearShapedHat in the FictionPress universe (do feel free to have a look-see at my stuff over there, if you fancy) :)

I'm currently still at secondary school, in the later end, but that's as close to telling you my age as you're gonna get. I live in England, which has it ups and downs, mostly in terms of weather :) And I love writing. Which is why I'm here! (Also, that's not me in the profile photo, in case you were wondering)

I kinda started out here with a couple Klaine drabbles, because fluff :) But now I'm more used to FanFiction, I'm currently working on two different Batman fics. Although in future, who knows? I'm a part of several fandoms, so we'll see what comes of that. I'mma try to to stick with HEA's or bittersweet endings - nothing completely tragic, promise :) I couldn't bring myself to do that.

I love it when people review, it makes me smile whether it's compliments or constructive criticisms - I think words are valuable, and if my work is worth other people's, then I'm flattered. The same goes for PMs - I'm more than happy to check out recommendations, or answer questions, etc. I just have a couple of things I need to say about that; 'rules', if you will.

1) Be nice to me. If you have pointers or think there's room for improvement in what I write, then that's cool - part of why I'm on here and FictionPress is for feedback and advice to help me develop as a writer. Just don't be outright horrible. If anyone in real life comes up to me and sends my efforts down in flames or just insults me, then I'm hardly going to warm to them. Same applies on here.

2) No hating. Of any kind. Don't be horrible about other fandoms in reviews or PMs, and don't shoot down other people's stuff. The world has enough people being horrible to other people for their likes and dislikes - let's change that. But more importantly: if it's sexist, racist, homophobic or in any way offensive to other people, keep it off of my stuff. I mean it. I am a firm believer in equality for everyone, regardless of gender, race, religion and sexual orientation. We're all human, we all have feelings, so let's not hurt one another's, shall we? Good.

P.S. My uploads, as hard as I try, tend to be irregular and rather spaced out. I apologise most sincerely. I just have a lot of stuff going on, what with school and life and all that, and I'd rather wait until I have something I'm proud of, something worth uploading, rather than chucking a load of half-hearted drivel out there.
