Willkommen, bienvenue, welcome, c'mon in! You've stumbled upon my FanFiction.net page!

Mini-Bio: I'm many things - an overly dramatic actress, an artist who hates drawing anything but people, a singer who can only reach the high notes, an obsessive diarist, and a guilty speed-reader, to name a few - but I am primarily an avid author who is occasionally terrorized by writer's block and firmly believes in l'art pour l'art. (Whew!)

Writing Specialties: Even though I've been known to pen short stories, plays, poems, and even the odd novel, I have a soft spot for fanfiction. It's good writing practice, it's a great way to delve into your favorite fandom and discover what makes it tick, and let's face it: writing fanfiction is fun. I primarily write fanfiction for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, using a mix of my own original characters and those in the established canon.

Inspirations: I am largely inspired by the works of those I read. Some of my favorite authors, novelists or otherwise, include: Cassandra Clare, David Eddings, John Flanagan, Stephen King, George R. R. Martin, Stephenie Meyer, George Orwell, Sylvia Plath, Edgar Allan Poe, Jennifer Roberson, Patrick Rothfuss, J. K. Rowling, William Shakespeare, Bram Stoker, David Lee Stone, and Oscar Wilde.

More often than not, however, music plays a huge part in getting my muse to work. Since I have a wide spectrum of musical tastes, soundtracks are my best friend. My current go-to albums are Ceremonials by Florence and The Machine, My Head Is An Animal by Of Monsters and Men, and, of course, the Skyrim and Game of Thrones soundtrack. (However, random songs are what mostly powers my writing. If there are any that I associate with a particular piece of fanfiction, I'll mention it.)

On Reviews and Other Messages: Feel free to review and leave questions, comments, feedback, and/or constructive criticism. Don't flame and/or spam me; I don't like it any more than you would. It goes without saying that if you don't like my fanfiction, don't read it. Why make yourself miserable? ;)

Also, never pester me about updates. Seriously, I'm not kidding. I lead a busy life and, even though I love to stay on top of things, I can occasionally fall behind. If a chapter will not be arriving soon, I'll make sure to put up a notice about it (but seeing as I write about five or six chapters ahead before posting, the likelihood of that happening is not high).

On Ratings: I tend to treat the ratings established on FanFiction.net like movie ratings. Ergo, "K" is the equivalent to "G," "K-Plus" to "PG," "T" to "PG-13," and "M" to "R." Keep this in mind if you're uncertain about the kinds of things my writing might include, though the designated genres might be enough to fill you in.

PS. My profile picture is of my current Dragonborn and the main character in my Skyrim fanfics, Kajsa Red-Blade. The vampire watermelon was satisfactory for a time, but I got hungry and ended up eating it. :P

NEWS FROM THE KEYBOARD

May 2, 2013 - Auggghhh... this chapter is being particularly stubborn. Expect a delay.

February 1, 2013 - Posting of Chapter 39 of "The Bear and the Wolf" will be postponed for a week, as this weekend suddenly became completely booked for me. Once again, I am very sorry and will do my best to reach the extended deadline.

December 9, 2012 - Unfortunately, due to my busy schedule and the fact that my teachers thought it would be funny to dump a bunch of projects and essays on me before Christmas break, Chapter 32 of "The Bear and the Wolf" will be late by a week. Sorry about that, everyone!

September 12, 2012 - As a quick note, updates to "The Bear and the Wolf" will be coming on a weekly basis... more or less.

August 26, 2012 - I am now posting chapters to the "The Bear and the Wolf."

August 23, 2012 - "Out of the Ashes" is posted in its entirety. Go check it out while you're waiting for "The Bear and the Wolf."

August 17, 2012 - Well, "Out of the Ashes" is all done (finally!), so it's being posted now, with updates coming daily.

August 13, 2012 - Okay, I lied. ;) Work on "Out of the Ashes" is coming along a little slowly, so in the meantime, the prologue of "The Bear and the Wolf" has been posted.

August 2, 2012 - "True Lies," the second of two Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim oneshots of mine, has also been posted. Until I finish work on "Out of the Ashes," there will probably be no more updates for a while.

August 1, 2012 - "A Twisted Sort of Sister," one of two Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim oneshots of mine, has been posted.

July 31, 2012 - "The Dare, the Dress, and the 'Desperado'" is finished and up on the site!

July 29, 2012 - I took a quick break to post a Super Smash Bros. oneshot of mine called "Spelling It Out" featuring Samus Aran and Master Hand. I recommend you read it while you're waiting for more chapters of "The Dare, the Dress, and the 'Desperado.'" ;)

July 24, 2012 - In the wake of destruction, "The Dare, the Dress, and the 'Desperado'" is now being posted, one chapter at a time.

July 22, 2012 - Due to my own stupidity and bad luck, I have accidentally deleted my Skyrim file. I will restart it soon enough, but it will take a while for me to get my file back to where it formerly was (AKA, level 36 with a good majority of the Daedric artifacts - I'm really furious at myself). So even though I'm finishing the chapters that I have outlined, "The Bear and the Wolf" is now officially on hold. :(

July 20, 2012 - "In Another Life," my Messenger fanfic, is completely posted. Head on over and check it out!

THE ELDER SCROLLS V: SKYRIM - "The Bear and the Wolf" (Dragonborn/Dovahkiin & Ulfric Stormcloak, Hurt/Comfort & Suspense, Rated T)

Summary: Ulfric Stormcloak is determined to win the Dragonborn over to his side and make her his. But is he capable of dealing with the mercurial, prideful heroine - and the dark secrets from her past that resurface to haunt them both? Loosely follows Stormcloak questline with some of the main questline; eventual Ulfric/OC.

Status: Chapters are (more or less) coming on a weekly basis; I try to post them on either Saturday or Sunday, depending on how weird and wonderful my schedule is that week.

THE ELDER SCROLLS V: SKYRIM - "Corruption of Blood" (Serana, Hurt/Comfort & Suspense, Rated T)

Summary: When a Guild job takes Ronan Sorleigh into Skyrim, he finds himself caught up in a vast conspiracy that has dire consequences for all of Tamriel. With a mysterious, beautiful vampire by his side, he must race to thwart the insidious plot... as well as confront his own dark legacy. A sequel to "The Bear and the Wolf" that loosely follows the Dawnguard questline; eventual OC/Serana.

Status: I will be starting outlining this as soon as I finish "The Bear and the Wolf." The posting date of the first chapter is undetermined, but like its predecessor, it shall have regular updates (my schedule permitting).
