Author has written 3 stories for Vampire Knight, and Bleach. Username: blushinglily About me: I am currently a college student double majoring in graphic design and Japanese language. It's an odd combination, so sue me. I write when I have time, what little I have, but rest assured that I have not abandoned ANY of the stories I'm writing (mostly HitsuHina) nor the ones I'm planning. Just give me time. =D Update: 12/22/2010 It's hard to believe that seven years have passed since I joined the fanfiction.net community. When I first stumbled upon this site, I was only thirteen years old; I was excited and awed. I've never seen a website like this before: a group of fans actually coming together to write out different fantasies of their favorite characters? It was unthinkable, but nonetheless, I got into the craze too. So, does this ominous note mean that the craze has gone out of me? Of course not. But I do admit, there are some priorities that I'd like to get in order. While I won't stop writing for HitsuHina (not yet anyway), I do admit that I need to take time for myself to figure out where I'm at in terms of my writing style. I look at the Bleach fandom nowadays, and I have to go through heaps of muck to actually get a decent story. I've felt like that for years, but then I go and sift through my own writing, and I feel like someone just gave me a huge slap in the face. All this time I was thinking to myself that the literary standard of this site has really gone down the drain, but I never really realized that my own stories were a part of that "muck" that I pridefully thought I was not a part of. I cringe at some of the stories I wrote. Crimson Ice and Opposite Ends were a complete disaster, and don't get me started on Garden of Eve or Mirror, Mirror. Stories I wrote that I once thought were really good and of high standard turned out to be semi, if not complete garbage. So, I'll be taking some time for myself to figure out my writing style. The stories I left up is where I'm currently at; I want to know--no, I need to see if I can go any farther because I really want to go farther. I need to see if I could move from the spot that my current stories have defined for me. So I'll go ahead and say it. Farewell for now. I won't make any promises as to when I'll be back, because honestly, I don't know how long it'll take. It could take as long as a month to two years, but rest assured, I will not stop writing for Bleach and HitsuHina. It's too much of an awesome fandom to give up on. =D I'll be back soon, I promise. | |||||||
