Ok, let's start with a quote from a message I got a few days ago...

'Stop stalling and update your stupid story already! You're not gonna be gettin' anymore reviews so stop already and update the next damn chapter!'

In all honesty, I don't know if I should be happy or mad at getting this message (actually I don't even know how he/she came up with this kind of reasoning...). It seems, this person likes my story enough to the point that he/she has gotten mad (for real) at me for not updating. There are three possible reasons as to WHY I update so slowly...1.) I have to work. My college fund / Japan trip fund is not going to save itself up. 2.) College. Need I say more? 3.) The latest chapter is going through the stages of editing. I am a patient and diligent person, guys. I don't like to rush things. Please, please, please, please, please just bear with me...

Now, about the review comment... I WILL MAKE MY POINT CLEAR: I don't write for the sake of getting reviews. I write because whenever an idea pops into my head, it will not go away until it has been written on paper. I write because I LOVE to write. I write because it is only one of a few ways to express myself. Although I am always happy to get reviews for my stories (it keeps me motivated...), no one is obliged to review. I won't force that on anyone... I always leave in the end of my chapters, 'Please Review!', but rest assured, you don't have to. I just hope the person who had sent me this message thought about his/her actions before sending me something like that. I am not a review-hog, people. Review my stories if you want to. Although positive reviews always cheer me up immensely, just you people reading my stories is enough to make me happy. =)
