Author has written 15 stories for Merlin, Avengers, Ironman, and Les Miserables.

Um. Hi?

I guess I'm supposed to talk about myself here, so I'll do my best. I write a lot, mostly poems and 21 fantasy stories that are started and (as of today) never finished.

The truth is that I am only here because...let's just say that when my characters, my settings and, (shudder) my precious plots begin to parallel with whatever I'm obsessed with (and this happens often), the small part of my brain that is down to earth and named Ethel Bluestocking - I am a girl - grabs my shoulders and says "Okay. Go write some fanfiction and come back."

I can't decide if I have a favorite book, but if books could be BFFs (and who's to say they can't be?) The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss and Eats, Shoots and Leaves by Lynn Truss would be my besties. They go with me everywhere.

I met the Marvel universe about two months ago, with the Avengers. Or should I say, Tony Stark and everyone else.

I could go on for fifteen minutes about Tony Stark. But I love him, Natasha, Loki and Bruce and hate Steve. So rather than get into THAT whole thing (It will go on for fifteen minutes, believe me, he's just that awesome) I'll go on about Merlin instead. :)

...or not.

Look, Tony is just so beautifully crazy, brilliant, insecure, depressed, arrogant, and messed up, anyone who doesn't love him has issues. (If you don't love him and don't have issues...well everyone has issues, so never mind.) Pepperony is...so cute. Pepper's awesome. And they're adorable.

Right, back to Merlin!

I am also a die-hard Merlin fan. It has something to do with Gwaine and Arthurian legend, in that order. Oh, Merlin...

Favorite character - 1. Gwaine, the Knight of Roguish Manners and Devilishly Good Looks

- 2. Morgana, the Awesome Villain - I mean, Queen Morgana Pendragon. Long live Her Majesty's revenge.

- 3. Gwen because she's so honest, sweet and down to earth. And Leon. Cause he's so nice.

- 4. Here lieth a tie between Cenred and Agravaine. Cenred 'cause he has so much fun being evil it's hilarious - even if his sorceress-who-was-obviously-using-him girlfriend killed him off. Agravaine, because even if he was a bit of a creep he was so obviously a traitor and such a wannabe villain. You saw him when he found out about Merlin, he looked like he just got a Christmas present. "You - you have magic!" Agravaine beamed. What a delightful surprise! he thought. Oh...ouch.

Favorite scene -

"Are you really wise, Merlin, or just a prancing fool? I can no longer tell."

Merlin looked at Arthur gravely, as if about to deliver a deep, insightful truth, and began to walk over to tell him, no doubt, a serious one-liner about doom and destiny.

CLANG.

Merlin glanced down at the pot he had just knocked over and back up at Arthur, who sighed.

"As if there was ever any doubt."

EPIC FAIL!!!!!

Plus, I love all the scenes when, at last, the show connects with some of the milestones in the original legend. The one where the knights get knighted, so to speak. The one with the sword in the stone. The one where (sniff, sniff) Lancelot dies epically. And anything with Morgana as the Queen. Sure, she's a terrible ruler - killing and starving peasants and torturing awesome knights aren't going to get her anywhere - but somehow (after watching her fail soooo many times when her plans always got thwarted at the Very Last Moment) having her finally win anything at all makes you cheer "Yes! Yes! Go Morgana! Evil Forevermore!" until you realize that, no, you're not supposed to be jumping up and dancing around when Uther says "You have no claim to the throne" and Morgana says "Yes. She does not. But I do" and then "I am your daughter, after all" which still makes me thrilled every time I think about it - you're supposed to be angry and hurt and plotting revenge. (Oh. Oops.) The best part of that scenario is that, in the end, you get to feel happy again when Arthur comes back - with hopefully some major plot changes - and takes everything back again. Also, the scene with Gwaine's Bill is hilarious. The look on Arthur's face.

Favorite Knight: Gwaine for his loyalty and overall epicness, then Percival and Elyan with a tie for second. Percival is so big and strong but gentle and chivalrous. Elyan is daring, clever and of a humble background, who wins my utmost respect for the first thing he says when rescued from a dark and terrible dungeon and asked if he was okay: "I've been locked up with Gwaine for a week."

Favorite Pairing: Arwen, some Mergana/Morwaine as long as it's believable. I'm not into Merthur 'cause I adore Arthur and Merlin's cute friendship, or ArMor because I like Arthur and Morgana's sibling relationship and later the whole idea that their changes have made them into complete opposites - the whole light and dark idea.

OK, fortunately for anyone who's reached this far - i.e. you - I've run out of "favorite" things to ask myself. And please forgive my American spelling. I can't help it.

Likes: Well, Merlin, duh. I am also currently obsessed with Shakespeare, the Medici family, the Bartimaeus trilogy, Greek mythology, the Queen's Thief books, the Arthurian legends, complaining about the Roman Empire, the Earthsea trilogy, Hagar the Horrible comics, folk songs, Potter Puppet pals, watercolor painting, and telling my sister that she should master Lancelot's character, not Morgana's.*

Sure, I love Morgana. But you try having to live with her for weeks upon end. The smirks, the revenge threats, the sheets-turned-cloaks... it just gets a little old, huh?

Dislikes: Reading fanfiction where characters you adore are hopelessly out of character, Evil Morgana is nicer than she really is (Points at self - "Guilty!"), and people fall in love with only someone's looks leading to a great and happy relationship (hello, reality?). People who are averse to obsession and enthusiasm - because said people tend to be averse to me as well. (Hmm...) Eggplant, and feeding the capital-R Rabbit. (Myself and the Rabbit exist in a state of mutual discord. Now, I wonder what that is? It sounds good, though, doesn't it?)

For Merlin my favorite pairing would probably be Arthur, Gwen and Lancelot. I love Arwen but always feel terrible for good old Lancelot. I wish that Morgana and Gwaine could have been together, but it was not meant to be. (Thanks a lot, Merlin writers. Why didn't you delete the episode where Gaius becomes a goblin or whatever and put in a plotline with them two instead?) Unfortunately now that Morgana made the brilliant decision to starve him and torture his friends, the chances of that happening are - alas! - very slim. Very slim indeed.

Hmm. Thankfully for anyone reading this, I have run out of things to say. Good day, lady of Camelot/good sir/insert fanciful title here. Pardon me my terrible profile.

Sincere as I'm going to get - which is pretty sincere,

Fae
