January 13, 2006: I've posted 2 chapters of my new story Fierce Determination. Its an AU story that I wrote because AU stories are my favorite type to read and I have yet to see a story where Harry isn't the Boy-Who-Lived but sibling is, where Harry is not completely abused and neglected by his parents.

I've decided to take this place to tell you about the type of fanfictions that I read. First off, I will never read a Harry/Ginny fic, ever. The only time I will read this is when it is used by JK Rowling and I still hope and pray that she keeps them apart forever. I'd rather see Harry die at the end then for him to end up with Ginny. Also, I'll never read a Harry/Hermione. I used to read these all the time, but I've gotten rather sick and tired of it.
I don't really have a favorite ship at all, as long as it isn't H/G or H/Hr and it's not slash. Also, I can't stand stories where Harry falls completely in love with a girl right away. Ships that I really like are: Harry/Tonks, Harry/fem!Blaize, and Harry/OC. The rest I won't read unless they are well written.
I can't stand Severitus fics either. I can't stand any fics where James Potter isn't Harry's father. I can't stand fics where Snape is a nice guy because he just isn't. I like fics where Snape is a good guy insofar as he helps out Dumbledore and Harry, but he doesn't have to be nice about it.
I can't stand when Draco is made out to be a good guy either. He is nothing, but a dirty Death Eater wannabe and needs to be killed. He will never be a good guy or anything.
I used to like to read the fics where Dumbledore manipulates Harry, but recently I have come to hate them. They all, every single one ever written, makes Dumbledore a complete idiot and Harry suddenly becomes a super genius overnight and outwits Dumbledore at every turn. Also I can't stand when they make Dumbledore out to be a common theif as in taking money from Harry's vault. Why would he need to do that? He is Headmaster of the most prestigious school in the world. Also, he is the Head of the Wizengamot and he is 150+ years old. Dumbledore has to be loaded beyond reason.
I love fics where Harry breaks his friendship off with Ron and Hermione or just one of them, it doesn't matter which. I like this because usually people can't write Ron or Hermione's Characters very well. Also, I just don't like them very much.
AUs are my favorite type of stories, especially ones where Harry gets transported to another universe where his parents are alive. Then there are the good ones where Harry isn't raised by the Dursely's, but by someone else entirely.
