I'm MST3KguruK10, best known as das_mervin throughout the rest of the web. My current favorite fandoms are Edward Scissorhands, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, Harry Potter, and Sweeney Todd, though I have written fic for Hellsing, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and The Matrix. I am posting a new story called "Strange Bedfellows," a crossover between Harry Potter and Once Upon a Time in Mexico featuring my favorite slash crackpairing Snape/Sands. I wouldn't be adverse to you guys dropping by and checking it out--it updates every Sunday and I worked hard on it with my writing partner and beta Mrs. Hyde. The story itself was beta'd by ket_makura and shyaway on LiveJournal. I'm a huge fan of Miss Becky's work--she writes very good stories, my favorite being "Interagency Cooperation." I recommend anyone check out what she writes. I've offered my services as a beta reader, though I am primarily a proofreader, rather than a person who looks for character flaws, canon denial, etc. I am admittedly extremely picky about characterization and canon, and as such, may have different views of what should go on in a story. That's why I don't trust myself enough to beta a story that in depth. However, I gladly offer my services if you need proofreading--just mention that I was only betaing for that, not the rest of the story. That's pretty much all I have to say about things.
