Author has written 27 stories for Newsies, Drake & Josh, and Song of the Lioness. Time for a new profile? Yes, I think so. Well, I'm 20 years old, and writing is my passion. It's also my dream, if I can make it my career, I will be a very happy woman. I live in Washington, D.C. (for the moment) and absolutely love it here. However, that being said, should I ever get published, and have a semi-decent writing career, I will be entirely content with living in New York City. On to my fics. What I recommend: Real Love: The Forever Kind: I have to admit, this is pretty much my favorite fic. (That I've written anyways.) It's got love, mystery, intrigue, and NYC, what more can you ask for? Eventually, this will be published. What other people are saying about Real Love: Bittah: "I feel like I'm being sucked into a world of intrigue and mystery." Morning Glory: "You have me hooked!" "I also love how it reads like a fairy tale. It is a wonderful story, and a refreshing change from usual fics written in this time period." Broken: Another fic I really love. It's a one shot, and it's fairly intense, and YES it does involve religion. Deal with it. Religion was just as much alive at the turn of the century as it is now, and generally taken way more seriously. A Cut Above the Rest: It's on temporary hiatus, until I finish RL:TFK, but it's a fun read. Told in first person from David's POV, it's got humor and mystery. House of Cards: A rewrite of an old fic revolving around (who else?) Racetrack. Also on hiatus till I finish RL:TFK, and probably even until I finish ACAtR. Forgotten Children: A winner for Stretch's "A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words" contest, I really like this fic. It's a one-shot, it's intense, and it's very historically correct. Follows a wealthy girl who scomes into contact with a young newsboy, who will change her life forever. Sounds cheese, and even a bit Mary Sue, but it's not. No romance. Other fics by me: Can't say that I really recommend these... I mean, their not terrible, but they are older, and my writing has definitely come a long way since I wrote these. They're fun bits of fluff, but don't expect anything wonderful here. :-) The "Love Song" series: A cute collection of one shots, that overlap, but aren't needed to be read together. I wrote them a few years ago, and to be honest, I think my writing has improved since then, but I still love them. Basically they're just nice little pieces of fluff. Just a Friendly Wager: Written for Morning Glory, a comedic piece involving Skittery, and a small bet. The Worst Way to Retaliate: Spot oneshot, written just for fun. Wasted Away: A collection of one shots. Basically it's a three part series, that I may or may not continue.
