Author has written 9 stories for Bones.

I am a college student trying to narrow my major down to either chemistry or pathology. My current course load includes Zoological Biology, Anatomy/Physiology and Calculus. Writing is my escape into creativity when the beautiful sciences get too overwhelming.

The image I selected for my avatar is an artistic rendering of a covalent bond between atoms. It's a chemistry thing, but I think it's a beautiful natural illustration of how different people--or elements--can complement and complete each other.

At the moment I'm only going to be writing for Bones because I love that program's combination of science, mystery, drama, comedy and romance. I've written a lot of fan fiction on my own over the years but have never been brave enough to publish anything until just recently.

Standard Disclaimer: I write fan fiction, lovingly borrowing the characters, and sometimes the plot and dialogue of others, to explore different themes and ideas that appear in the original show. No infringement is intended, and I do not profit in any material way from these stories.

About my stories:

String Theory
My first published story is String Theory. After watching the 100th episode the first time, I was left trying to figure out what had happened, why Brennan said no, and why Booth gave up so fast. It took me over a year to figure it out! In my quest for answers, three different ideas began to take shape and twist together like a string of yarn and that is what turned into the story, String Theory. If you want to know what the writers were (probably) doing for Parts in the Sum of the Whole, read String Theory through until chapter 8, then stop. (If you want a happier ending, read through to the end.) Complete.

Catalyst in the Partnership
One of my works in progress, this is a series of stand-alone chapters that tell a larger story. It charts the progress of Booth and Brennan's relationship over the course of the show's history. Season one is complete. I have ideas in development for season two and will add additional chapters as time allows, probably in between terms at school. In progress, but updates are very slow.

Doomed to Repeat
The huge angst-fest is finally finished! It's a look at the underlying tensions in Brennan from her past, and how that plus her present fears were contributing factors to her fight with Booth in the season 8.2 episode, Partners in the Divorce. Complete.

No Longer Needed
This is a quick 'one-shot' that I wrote right after watching Partners in the Divorce. It is first person Booth's POV, showing what he's thinking and feeling about Brennan's behavior in that episode. I use it as a counter-balance to Doomed to Repeat, so that I have Booth's motivation in my mind while I am exploring Brennan's POV. Complete

A Face on Every Skull
A request from Casketformytears, does Brennan believe in ghosts? Here is a story that explores how Brennan perceives bones, the friendship between Brennan and Angela, the partnership between Brennan and Booth, and how those affect Brennan's evolving relationship with the victims she encounters. The question of ghosts does come up, more than once. The final chapters will include some scenes from season eight's Ghost in the Machine. This work in progress will be updated once or twice per week until it's finished. Part 1, consisting of chapters 1-20, is finished.

This is not a Rationalization
Spoilers for Shot in the Dark would be contained in a summary here, so I'm keeping it vague. For now, just know that it's first person, in Brennan's head. She's thinking profound thoughts laced with science and emotion. More information about the story is available within the first chapter. Updates are planned for Sundays, and a total of five chapters. Complete.

Butterfly Wings
A one-shot musing on the way Hodgins feels about Angela. Very sweet, slightly angsty. Complete.

The Catch in the Contradiction
A series of one-shots where one of our beloved characters is called out for inconsistency. Main target is Booth (because it's just so easy) but I am actively looking for ways to spread the teasing around. Anyone who reverses themselves is fair game. My first M story. In progress with bi-weekly updates. Hopefully.

"I see a face on every skull," she'd told a courtroom once. As with everything else Temperance Brennan had ever said, she meant that literally…. How does she read the bones so well? And what price does she pay to do it? Eventual romance. Part 1 is finished! Part 2 begins with chapter 21.

It's simple, really. Booth says things, then he reverses himself or forgets what he's said. Brennan catches him and naturally brings it up. However, he's not the only one who contradicts himself. So, here begins a series of one-shots where someone gets caught. ;) Rating is M for adult themes and discussions, including sexuality.
