HEYY! My name is Simran and I'm 17 yrs old. I'm the kind of girl who loves romance but would never admit it because I don't want to seem soppy, I LOVE action packed books so Artemis Fowl, Alex Rider, shizzle like that. I write because... well I suppose its a form of escapism, not to sound boring but my life is pretty monotonous so rather than being a girl studying for her AS's I could be a spy, undercover at an expensive boarding school to save the life of the prime ministers son (and of course I'm totally kick-ass amazing), or instead of walking home on my own under the grey clouds forever associated with London I could be a vampire stalker her prey. I know it sounds ridiculous but to me it's not. I suppose I would like to be an author but I don't quite think I'd make it. I'd rather be a book editor - the thought of all that brand spanking new manuscript practically makes me salivate. I adore the freedom of the written word and the creativity of it all. Original ideas are a God send, I think, in today's society and I love them. In case you hadn't caught on, I ADORE LITERATURE such as the wonderful and magical HP, the elaborate THG, the action-packed Night World, the funny yet sweet Warm Bodies, the angelic Fallen Series, the down right brilliant Series of Unfortunate Events and the genius Starcrossed series. Anything creative or imaginative. I used to think I had a favourite genre but honestly, if the work is original and creative and captivating, I'm destined to fall in love with it. Well, yeah, that's me :D xx
