Author has written 45 stories for Harry Potter, Les Miserables, Shakespeare, We Will Rock You, Lord of the Rings, Moulin Rouge, Chicago!, Firefly, and RENT.

What can I say? I'm an Aussie girl who's obsessed with historical fiction (esp. anything Victorian), Baz Luhrman films, musicals, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Shakespeare, Tom Stoppard and all things sci-fi, and has a taste in music that can only be described as ecclectic. I quote incessantly, from song lyrics to TS Eliot. I like to experiment with writing, and fanfiction gives me a lot of room for that. I tend to slip a lot of French into fics where appropriate, though I'm still learning the language so if I make mistakes, feel free to let me know. My updating can tend to be erratic, but if I have a chaptered fic I will try my best to update regularly. I'm also obsessed with minor characters from any given fandom (Moulin Rouge and Harry Potter in particular). This can sometimes be frustrating as there will usually be a shortage of fanfics for them. If I find a fanfic featuring my favourite characters, expect me to squee incessantly.

Along with this, I have a natural aversion to fluff unless it's dosed with liberal amounts of either angst or comedy, preferably comedy. I will write either parodies or drama/angst, with little in between. I also draw inspiration for fanfics from anything, even if the two are completely unrelated and the influence isn't even obvious, from a song to 'Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead' to 'Pirates of the Caribbean 2'. I usually state in the Author's Notes if there was anything that particularly influenced me.

Actually, the fluff bunny has bitten me too. Curse!

I am a slasher. You may have noticed this.

I have a sense of authorly honour, so I will provide constructive criticism in my reviews (because no writing is perfect, even if sometimes the imperfections are very hard to find, in which case I'll point out the bits that I liked most, though I usually do that anyway) and appreciate recieving constructive crit myself. Occasionally I'll give harsh concrit. I don't want to be mean! Really, I always try to be nice. I don't flame. If you can't handle being told that your writing needs improvement for whatever reason (and I'll always tell you specifically where I think you could improve), then that's a rather immature attitude that is hurting no one but yourself. Don't get pissed off at me. I've taken the time to give you an honest review. The least you can do is consider what I have to say. That being said, all concrit is my opinion and you can take what you want from it. If you don't agree, that's fine with me. Just please don't whine about it.

Some of my earlier fics were removed on account of being crap. If you venture through my writing past 2005, I pity you and advise you to tread carefully. I was very young when I started writing here, and it shows in my earlier fics. I keep some of them up to show how I've progressed as a writer, but still, strong caution advised! I'm no longer as young and immature as I once was!

Feel free to check out my fave authors and stories (they are there for a reason, you know). They are exceptional, or at least, I think so. Until we meet again, au revoir and reclaim your sanity at the door.

Fics rated higher than M or I don't feel like posting here for whatever reason are located at my livejournal under the name sugar_fey. Link above under Homepage. Fandom related musing, ranting and squeeing are also located there.
