Author has written 5 stories for Les Miserables, and Phantom of the Opera. *Why?* For People Who, For Whatever Reason, Would Like to Know About Me: I am a less-than-sane High School student from somewhere in the New York region. -I Like: Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, drawing, poetry, limes, slash, reading, sleep, music--almost all genres, and certain imaginary characters (*ahem*). -I Dislike: Mary-Sues, ignorant people, bratty children, infomercials, and bad grammar and spelling (I am a Grammar Imp). A Note: For anyone who was wondering (no one, I'm sure, but I don't care), I am absolutely against Enjolras/Eponine pairings. They are completely impossible, if you ever bothered to read the book (though people who write them have most likely never read the book). A description of Enjolras, STRAIGHT FROM CANON: 'It did not seem as though he were aware there was on earth a thing called woman... He hardly saw the roses, he ignored spring, he did not hear the carolling of the birds; the bare throat of Evadne would have moved him no more than it would have moved Aristogeiton; he, like Harmodius, thought flowers good for nothing except to conceal the sword.' Not to mention that Eponine was a disgusting and rather insane gamine who never one set foot inside the Cafe Musain or the Corinth. (Not the 'ABC Cafe'. *ahem*) ...I know why these people write these kinds of fics; they see themselves as Eponine, the forgotten angsty teenager, and they fancy Enjolras, but please, PLEASE don't combine them. It never turns out well. I also have a large problem with stories that portray Cosette as this horrible person who exists for the sole purpose of stealing Marius away from Eponine. Marius and Cosette were in love, and Marius hardly knew Eponine. She, as has been previously stated, was INSANE and disgusting, i.e. lice-ridden and unkempt, and her voice was low and raspy, not melodious and all that...stuff. So please, if you are the type of person who writes this garbage, do yourself and fellow fanficcers a favour and READ THE BOOK. Thank you, and have a nice day. A Note: To anyone who was wondering, my first fic, Les Miserables meets the Rocky Horror Picture show, was removed by ff.net because it was in script format. I didn't really like it anyway. . . That's all, for now, anyway. | |||||
