Hi! The name's ever2green! But obviously that's not my real name. :P Welcome to my Author's Page. I'm 18 and a Filipina in my first year of college. I've always liked writing and reading even when I was really young and it seemed coming here was a natural inclination on my part. I feel that I am pretty young still in my writing and I am always striving to improve although I feel I haven't so much in the last couple years. There so much I want to do and so many projects that I have just stored away that it's hard for me to prioritize. Also I am a pretty lazy writer which I hate to admit. And I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to writing before posting. So, it is more often than not, where I don't update for a long time. That's why I enjoy writing one-shots more. There is no obligation to continue. I'm trying my darnest to get my other stories written but right now I am just trying to handle the 3 major ones I have already up here. I have another LotR one in the works but it's going to be a repost. It used to be up here before but I took it down when I realized that I hadn't thought it through very well and I was too busy with school to really get into it like I wanted to.

I take to constructive criticism very well. I'm not hard-headed or dense and will probably only bug you if I just don't get what you're trying to get across (I blame it on the language barrier. I am not an native English speaker). I need a beta-reader but I'm quite shy to go and look for one if only just because I hate to take up their time and then find out that I won't be continuing a story or abandoning it for the moment. I will need one eventually especially for that re-posting of that LotR fic...

Well that's it for now. I like to ramble as you can see. :)

At the End of All Things

May 3, 2009: I know I am an ass for not updating in like...5 months (or so). A combination of things happened from January till April that kept me busy and resulted in the not-updating-thing. It's also most likely because I fail at prioritizing and scheduling therefore this got shoved way back and before I knew it, it's May. Also, there has been some serious Writer's Block. I know, "excuses, excuses," right? Well, yeah. hangs head in defeat. But I'm not putting this up on the shelf again just yet. I'm trying to be stubborn and really push at this. It's just going to take a while for me to get my rhythm going. Please, bear with me. Thank you.

To those who have reviewed me put me on their favs lists and watch lists (the actual name escapes me so I will use what I think is the dA equivalent). You guys are awesome!

What Was Once Just A Fairy Tale

(formerly known as Once Upon A Fairy Tale)

Basically, it's bedtime story to the OC's two children. But this bedtime story is actually a real tale about her and her evolution from this feeble, not so self-confidant girl to a more mature woman. The theme is about a realistic point of veiw towards the BAMFed idea. She's hopelessly in love with her best-friend in the beginning of the fic but he doesn't like her back. The transition from modern day world to Middle-earth will be longer than normally desired but I really do hope it will turn out for the best. It's slightly angsty throughout the story but I believe there's that sort because the time-line is of course the War of the Ring and many of the characters she will be interacting with will be subjected to death (ie. Gandalf- but he comes back though). There will be one OMC and a canon character not so well known. And though it seems to be heading towards a romance story...I don't think it really is. To say that it doesn't revolve around a romance. It's a life story with adventure, learning, love, maturing...all that stuff. I still don't how I'll get all that through but it's a challenge and I hope when I get it over with, in the end it will have been a good experience for me and I will learn and hone my writing skills a little bit more. Slam Dunk: What If Series

November 23, 2008:OMG~! I am finally at my 10th chapter! This is HUGE for me because none of my fics have reached that far before. My latest installment is tackling the idea of Slam Dunk's characters doing the Phantom of the Opera musical. It will most likely be 3-5 part arc. Props to my friend TheSketcherfor helping me out with the idea and then showing me this lovely picture she drew of Rukawa as the Phantom.
