Just by reading this, you already know the most important thing about me, really- I love to write. I might take a break for a month or two, after burning out or running dry of inspiration, but I never really stop. In a transcendental world, the only things we truly own are our deeds and our ideas- the influence we leave behind for others' use.
So leave a mark or two.

Happy Easter, all. Posted up a Persona 3 continuity fic... and as apparent by the incredible amount of time since my last update, I took a bit of a hiatus on my other stories. Will I continue with Evolution and Courtship? Well, yes. Except that it's been a hell of a long time since season one of Suzumiya Haruhi, and until season two rolls along, I have other stuff that's tugging at my span of interest. Don't worry- I'll get to the end on both of them eventually.
6/25/2007 - Overworked
Short hiatus on all current works while my job schedule settles down. As it is, my boss added an entire shift to my schedule, and bumped all the other shifts around on me. Be back when things solidify.
6/19/2007 - The Deep End
Holy hell- what the fuck was I thinking? I've never even TRIED doing romance before, outside of the occasional nonimpacting subplot. ;_; The Courtship of Suzumiya Haruhi is... and I emphasize this with much vigor... very much on the experimental side of things. My own experiences along these lines were, after all, somewhat lacking and, ah, let's just say "very frustrating."
It's probably necessary, though. Other than the fact that literary experience can only be gained via the occasionally painful experimentation, there's also the fact that the basis of Haruhi and Kyon's relationship in TESH is enormously important in the overall scope of things (and while simple and obvious from my perspective, sure as hell hasn't been written into the plot yet... per se... _ coughcough), there's no way I can do it justice within TESH's plotline alone.
5/4/2007 - Cleanup
Deleted a lot (okay, almost all) of my old fics, leaving only The Evolution of Suzumiya Haruhi (my current project) and Soulhaven up. Not a lot of nostalgia for the old stuff- however badly I might write now, it was still far worse off before. Soulhaven gets to escape the massacre through the virtue of being the most "complete" of my previous works... despite my usual habit of cutting off once I hit a brick wall.
Luckily, however, I have a fairly good idea where I want to go with TESH. It definitely has an end. Here's hoping I can reach it- for once.
