Author has written 9 stories for Harry Potter. My name is Princess Pheonix Tears, aka Lindsay Allison. I'm a rather insane 20-something who lives on the east coast of the US. I love to read and write HP fanfiction. That alone makes me a little strange, but people seem to love me anyways. I don't know why. I prefer Draco/Ginny stories above all else. I love the forbiddeness of their relationship and the obstacles they have to face. I love writing Draco and Ginny because their characters in the series have great foundations, but in my opinion were never fully developed. I love that I can take these characters and believably (in my opinion) take them anywhere I want to. It's just so much fun to write these two because they often have minds of their own. I love it when characters take my story in a completely different direction than I had originally planned. And really, opposites attract, right? What creates a better story than a little fire and a little ice? ;) I have also dabbled in Draco/Hermione, but I am not much into that 'ship anymore. I am currently reading a couple of Lily L Potter and Scorpius stories. I have also read some Lily Evans and James Potter stories in the past, but for the most part I stick with Draco and Ginny. For the past several years, I have been so incredibly slack about writing. I would write only when I really, really felt like it. Well, I'm trying to further my ambitions to become a writer and that means having the discipline to finish what I've started. Please expect lots of updates from me in the near future. :) Stories that I have posted and are completed: Mama- A bittersweet story about the night Lily and James died. One shot. Nothing Would Make me Happier - Short little piece of fluff about the night Lily finds out her parents have been killed. One shot. Lily's Premonition - What happens when Lily has a premonition one night involving her son, Harry Potter. Eight Chapters. Comfortably Numb - The evolution of the relationship between Peter Pettigrew and Sirius Black, not slash. One Shot. Messenger of the Dragon - This is my one of my two Draco and Hermione stories. After finding out shocking information about her true origins, Hermione finds out that she must marry Draco Malfoy. Twelve Chapters. Behind Blue Eyes - Peter Pettigrew reflects on his mistakes upon his death. One Shot. Stories I've posted and are still under construction: Unexpected Consequences - Ginny Weasley always knew she would have to face the consequences of her actions, but she had no idea that becoming a model would have these consequences. This is currently on an indefinite hiatus. Against All Odds - This is my second Draco and Hermione story. Hermione finds out she has a secret identity and struggles with her true origins. When she finally breaks it's Draco Malfoy who is there for her when no one else can be found. This is currently on an indefinite hiatus. I do have the plot pretty much down, I just have to write it. :) The Course of True Love Never did Run Smooth - Draco and Ginny have a mutual, obsessive hatred of one another and they always have. Little do they know that it was never supposed to be that way. Forces from an outside party are at work and it's going to take terrible circumstances and a long, agonizing journey to bring them together. This story is still being written. It is extremely canon, and is pretty much epic in length, er will be epic in length. Stories I have not yet posted: Ginevra de Benci - A time travel piece. Ginny is working at Hogwarts as a professor along side several of her classmates, including the snarky Draco Malfoy. There is an argument, a nasty thunderstorm, and a freak accident with a time turner. Suddenly Ginny and Draco are in 15th century Florence and are not themselves. They are going to have to work together to get home. I am taking creative license with some historical figures for this one. I don't have all the plot kinks worked out just yet, so this story isn't started. But I have started the research for it. Updates: January 31, 2009 - At some point in time, not sure when, I took down "Against All Odds" and "The Course of True Love Never did Run Smooth" because they are on a temporary hiatus. I will complete these stories at some point, but I am going to work on "Unexpected Consequences". I am currently working on rewriting the story, editing and generally making the story flow better and read better. Hopefully it will be done fairly shortly. February 20, 2009 - Something came to my attention recently that I wanted to make note of. This had come up before, but I had ignored it. I wanted to put a note up here about it so that people would hopefully not keep telling me about it. I know that my punctuation when it comes to dialogue is not technically correct. My brain works a little differently than most and to me, the way that I do the punctuation makes more sense than the technically correct way. I know this sounds stupid or like I'm being lazy, but it's not that at all. If you look in modern and classic literature, a lot of authors don't use perfect grammar or punctuation. Now, I've always prided myself on my spelling and grammar, but I just can't seem to bring myself to change my dialogue punctuation. I'm sorry. February 28, 2009 - I wasn't going to repost this new story until I had finished "Unexpected Consequences" but Chapter 3 of that story is on my old computer and I haven't gotten a chance to put it on my new computer yet. I will be finishing that story shortly. I also finally got a good strong plot behind this story and just had to post it! I really hope that you all like it. November 6, 2009 - And I have restarted "The Course of True Love Never did Run Smooth" again! I have to take it down from this site and will repost it when I have a few more chapters done. I'm working on a challenge: November is National Write a Novel Month! Trying to get at least 50,000 words done in one month! So, anyways, I'm going to finish this story this month. I'm very excited about it. But I've reworked the plot with a dear friend and I believe I finally have found the story that has been wanting to be told since I came up with this plot so long ago. January 31, 2010 - I am still working diligently (ish) on "The Course of True Love Never did Run Smooth". "Unexpected "Consequences is on an indefinite hiatus. I WILL finish it. I just don't know when. August 19, 2011 - I have updated "Comfortably Numb" and "Nothing Would Make Me Happier". They have both been revised slightly to flow a little better and have been updated. They are now a part of my completely completed story list! :) September 16, 2011 - I have finished "The Messenger of the Dragon"!! Well, it's undergone it's first revision. Sometime in the future it will undergo another revision, but for now I am happy with it. It's not one of my favorite stories, but I am satisfied with the outcome. I hope you guys like it too! I am currently working extremely dilligently on "The Course of True Love Never did Run Smooth". Please note that this is a romantic Draco/Ginny story that is going to be an epic. It's already planned out 32 chapters and each are averaging out about 5,000 words or so...add it all up and it's about the length of one of the shorter HP novels! Gah! But it's going to be awesome simply because it is so detailed and it is so canon it hurts, lol. Well, obviously up to a point. Anyways, keep checking back! I've got some great things in the works! September 21, 2011 - So, "Against All Odds" is more complete than I thought it was. :) The unfortunate thing is, some of it is old and needs serious editing. So, I am going to finish the first draft, just power through it. THEN I'm going to go back and edit and do a bit of rewrite in a second draft before posting. I'm hoping to have that up in a week or two. Maybe sooner, I have been on a writing kick lately. December 28, 2011 - I have FINALLY started posting "The Course of True Love Never did Run Smooth" again. I am so happy with the first few chapters that I have written. I'm pretty anxious to get through part one (their time at Hogwarts) so that I can get to the truly creative stuff in part two. This is very canon up until book 7. Once we get to the Battle of Hogwarts, I let creative license take over and my story will no longer be following the books. I hope you all enjoy it. April 10, 2012 - I had to disable anonymous reviewing. I hate that I had to do it but some jackass was going to all of my stories and posting reviews that just say "You suck, write better." Please don't get me wrong, I love all forms of feedback. I am not the type of writer to say "no flames!" If you don't like my story or my writing, that's fine. But give me a reason why, tell me "I'm sorry this just isn't my cup of tea." But don't just say "You suck" on every single story I have. That just makes you a jackass. I'm going to stop now before I get angry again. My apologies, I just hate childish behavior like that. July 26, 2012 - Latest update is this: I am going to retire from writing fanfiction. I have several stories that need to be completed and I WILL complete them. It is my goal to finish first drafts by the end of the year for ALL of my fanfics, both on this penname and on my other penname, Allison Carter. I am going to use August's Camp NaNoWriMo as a motivator to start finishing some of these first drafts. I have about a dozen stories total that I want to finish, so hopefully I'll be getting those done. It's time for me to move on. I have LOVED writing fanfiction, especially HP fanfiction, but now I want to continue my journey into regular fiction. I want to be a published author, and I refuse to be the next EL James, which means I need to focus on my original works instead of my fanfictions. I hope to have more for you soon! August 24, 2012 - So, I promise to you that I am working on my stories! I just posted a new one that I had been sitting on for awhile called "Behind Blue Eyes". It's an angsty look at Peter Pettigrew. I hope I humanized him just a touch for you. "Unexpected Consequences" has taken an unexpected turn and has turned out to be much different than what it was when I started it. First draft is done but needs serious edits. As for the epic "The Course of True Love Never did Run Smooth"? I am working on it. It's part of my NaNoWriMo projects I'm doing this month. I'm hoping to just keep going until this one is done. I have lots to get done this year, you guys, so I should get off of here and go do it! August 25, 2012 - I put up the final edited draft of "Nothing Would Make Me Happier." Enjoy! Like I said, I'm nuts...but I'm fun. So let me know if you wanna chat or if you have any questions about any of my stories. I love making new friends!
