Hey guys,

I know I've been MIA, but the good news is that there has been progress on the story. It's going to be a really long chapter. The bad news is that it is time once again for that wondrous occasion that is Dragon*Con. This means that all work stops from now until after 3 September. Okay, better make it 4 September because there will need to be a day to re-coop from the partying, costuming, and . . .um . . . possibly drinking. I, however, am old enough to pickle my liver so it is okay.

If anyone else is going to be at DragonCon, I'd love to meet in the food court and say hello to you nice people in person. Lord knows. it has taken so long for this story that some of you would probably like to be able to throw things at me. This is your chance!! Or, you know, you can just wander the Marriott with its 40,000 plus milling people and yell, "Caeria! Caeria!" I promise to yell back.

Several very talented people have been inspired by Pet Project to create art for the story. As someone who can't draw a stick-figure, I'm delighted that the story has inspired those that can draw. I wanted to share with any readers the artwork that has very graciously been done for Pet Project.
