38 yr old American writer. Been reading FFNet for several years now, and finally joined :3. Current fandoms include Harry Potter, Avengers, MLP (old and new), 80s toons, and several book series.

UPDATE 5/6/13: I've added a Tumblr to my mess. Same handle. Occasionally it gets writing updates. Mostly gets reblogs of animals, Avengers, and rocks.

UPDATE 2/14/13: Yes, you see right, the song fics are gone. I got a notice today that I was in violation of one of the Content Guidelines, so I elected to pull all of them. I'm sorry to those of you who were interested in following "Avengers in Song", it just won't happen here. I'll try and contact you about it privately.

UPDATE 1/7/13: Happy New Year! New chapters are up. And, I have a Facebook now. Under Feathered Schist, so you can find me there, and follow along if you want more info. Though the really good, in depth mumbles are available on LJ or DW. Thinking of taking a couple weeks (at least 2) to get ahead of myself in writing, and see if I can corral these other stories that are hammering for attention and slowing me down. We'll see what happens!

UPDATE 12/31/12: Stuff is still moving along, so Happy New Year! I have to mention two things in this update. First, you can follow along with me as I rant and rave about my stories on Livejournal (Firehauke) and Dreamwidth (Drgnhlr) - both journals are 'friends only', but I have 1 sticky post that lists the filters - reply to that (screened comments) and tell me you are from FFN, and I'll stick you in the right filter.

Second thing - I'm going to try rearranging my personal schedule with this year's dawning. Instead of dedicating ALL my time to writing (I know, don't cry lovelies, I'm not leaving), I'm just going to 3 days a week, and evenings. Means postings will probably slow down with my writing style. I can tell at least 1 story is ready to wrap, and there are more waiting in the wings.

I am trying to convince myself about the usefulness of a Twitter for updates. Any thoughts? Leave me a PM. I think that's all I have for now!

UPDATE 11/16/12: Just a brief note from the winged rock writer - Things are chugging along nicely in the stories, and if you've been reading "Vital Communication" and "Blackhawk Retirement", you might have noticed that they have a similar timeline. That is because they do. Events in the early part of both stories are roughly concurrent, and soon, the paths will diverge so I can do separate things with different parts of the timeline. I am moving forward, but not quite fast enough (oh I know, I can hear you all saying "just update, we won't mind!", LOL, but I do - I don't want to write myself out of a Muse), and therefore need to gently tease apart the knots of the timeline and jump "Blackhawk Retirement" ahead a touch to carry that particular storyline forward as "Vital" continues to focus primarily on Bruce/Tony. One shots continue to filter in - who knows, I might write more song fics!

"Phoenix Hawk" is also moving along nicely :3 I hope to get something up this weekend.

UPDATE 9/26/12: Hey all, just a quick thought. When I wrote "Hulk Like Tin Man", it was meant as a one off, and part of a larger whole. It will not have a continuation. I've been getting a lot of follows to it, and it makes me sad because folks are following it when it won't be updated. It's still your choice, but I thought I'd point that out.

Upcoming from me include more "Vital Communication", and a Harry Potter fic, if I can get deeper into their story lines, anyway.
