Summary: Before the league, Brendan was given an invitation by the infamous Scott, the owner of the Battle Frontier. As he (and perhaps May - if he can convince her anyway), embarks on this new adventure, a deadly secret lies in wait. With a past that he thought he left behind for good, Brendan must fight his inner demons along with some hardcore trainers to boot. Old rivalries return, new rivalries begin, and a love that never fully developed might just bloom once and for all.

Story Length: Could easily pass the twenty or thirty chapter mark though not as huge as its prequel.

In an outrageous move that shocks everyone, Sailor Eldritch recruits Lucas, recently crowned pokemon champion of Sinnoh, to solve the mystery of his son. The problem is ... well, where can you start looking with little to no evidence?

09.12.09: Since HG/SS was released in Japan today, I thought it was appropriate to release a LCJ update to commemorate the event. I'll let you guess what it's about. ;P

09.02.09: Oh, right. I updated HLBMA, and my head hurts quite a lot because of it (stayed up til 3am to finish, lulz). When the story will end is still debatable. Might be two more chapters, or the next chapter might be the last one, but we'll see.

08.19.09: So in case you were wondering, no I'm not dead. I've come under a bit of trouble (looking for a new job, looking for money for school), so I've had to put my stories on hold for ... awhile to take care of it. But now I'm back, and I'm--slowly--working on updating both FDM and HLBMA again. I haven't forgotten about Project Revise HLBMA (I'm somewhere in the Lavaridge chapters), and I'll get back to that as soon as I update.

Progress, you ask? Not much, I admit. I have the basic structure of HLBMA (until its ending) written out, but the smaller detail, like the battle (well, that's not small), and the ending still need to be written. Same goes for FDM. Either way, I'm going to TRYYYY to update something before Monday.

07.17.09: Welp, I wrote a new one shot called And Then There's Lucas. I kind of got giddy about the idea of having both Brendan and Lucas in my supposed sequel. =P Read it.

Breezy/Breezeh/Br33zy ...

- is a girl.

- lives in Californiaaaaayyyy

- goes to uni/college/OLD PEOPLE SCHOOL. Lawl. She's less than twenty years old though. :P

- is pretty short (5'1). But she wears heels a lot, so it pushes her to an awthum 5'3. Haha.

- is obsessed with picross but dreads having to explain it to people when they ask.

- has a Wii with Brawl and Mario Kart! Email me if you want to play against me. ;P

- still hasn't bothered to beat Diamond/Pearl yet.

- used to party a lot but then quit when she got too poor from paying for college. Maybe that's why she started writing again. :3

- has been plagiarized three times (of course for HLBMA), one being on SPPf funnily enough. Possibly more that she hasn't seen. XP

- likes the Johto region and games better than Hoenn. Though she likes Brendan and May better than Kenta and Dani.

- does support hoennshipping and questshipping (though questshipping isn't as obvious).

- will never write another mushy one-shot or story since they make her gag.

- will only write about hoennshipping/romance in a plausible, realistic way (cute, random picnics on the beach? Yeah, boys like that are rare, ladies ;P)

- bases a lot of the romantic, emotional Brendan x May parts in her stories based on her own relationship with her boyfriend. You can tell when she fights or had a nice day with him based on how Brendan and May react to each other. Kekeke.

- used to HLBMA update daily. Then weekly. Then monthly. Then yearly. Now somewhat monthly again. ;P

- actually wants to write another Wally-based 'fic. Though it might be awhile since she wants to at least complete two stories before starting this one.

- really does like Wally a whole bunch but doesn't support Wally x May (newrivalshipping).

- was one of the first to goof up the shipping name for Brendan x May when it first started out (it was supposedly called Pokeballshipping for the Pokeball-shape on Brendan and May's bandannas, but she didn't know that and called it Hoennshipping in one of her one-shots. Lol). Hence why one of her summaries for one of her stories has something like "Hoennshipping, gameshipping, whatever it's called." Now we're stuck with Hoennshipping. ;3

- has 200 people that favorite'd her on their favorite author list. I bet you've been curious. ;P

- likes chocolate.

- is addicted to Pepsi.

- will probably add more later.

Q1) Lulz, Breezy, Brendan doesn't have white hair!! That's a hat!1!

A1) Yes, I know it's a flippin' hat, but this story was written WAY before it revealed as a hat in the manga, nor did Brendan's first game pose reveal that it was black hair underneath his bandanna. I was basing Brendan's appearance based off his first pose not his second, Emerald pose (which was not revealed until I hit the midpoint of HLBMA).

Volume 15 of the Pokemon Special (the first volume that included Ruby and Sapphire) was released July 28, 2003 in JAPAN. Source

HLBMA was released July 29, 2003.

Since I don't live in Japan, and the arc just started, there was no way in hell that no one knew that Brendan's "hair" was actually a hat. And I'm not changing it because that would require too much effort. HLBMA is not mangaverse, so there is no point in having Brendan wearing a pseudo hat-wig thing to hide his scar, anyway.

Ye, child, get over it.

Q2) R u rly goin to write a HLBMA sequel? that'd be awesome!!1!

A2) It's possible, though I'm still thinking about it. While the sequel isn't going to be as huge or tiring as its prequel, it still requires a lot of effort. That being said, I do have some ideas stored in my head, and I'm excited about some of the new characters I'm going to introduce. We'll see, though.

Q3) Can I use Muddy in my story?

A3) You can use the NAME, but not the character himself. The name itself is unoriginal and cliche for a mudkip, but the character is unique, and you'd probably butcher him trying.

Q4) Are Brendan and May going to end up together? I know you hint at it, and they finally confessed and everything ...

A4) That's for me to know and for you to find out. ;) I think it's pretty obvious, though, about what's going to happen, but whether or not I reveal it in HLBMA or its sequel is ... debatable.
