So I've had this account for what seems like forever; I just read my old bio and cringed (was I really that obsessed with anime? was I ever that hyperactive?). I'm a high school student who will (hopefully) be going to college soon. I love reading (I seem to have a strange affinity for Russian authors) and watching the movies I tape on TCM (currently I am ga-ga over the fabulous Fritz Lang). I hope to major in English or Comparative Literature or something like that. I live with my parents, my little brother, a cat, a guinea pig, and a large collection of paint chips and buckeyes. I probably dye my hair too much. I never knew I could start so many sentences with "I".
Once I get my priorities straightened out, I plan to get writing again. I seem to go through "phases" where I really get inspired by one character/couple from a show and then never give the story I write a second thought. In the past I've been into Doyle/Nadia from 24, currently I'm into Sylar/Claire from Heroes, but my OTP will always be Mulder/Scully from the X-Files.
If I read a really good story, I will add it to my favorites so I can easily read it again. That's why I have so many favorite stories listed. I tend to hoard the things that I like. I'm just obsessive like that.
Also? Back in my day we never had these new-frangled "avatars" or "communities" or "feeds". Just sayin'.
