Author has written 6 stories for Monkees, and Big Time Rush. Howdy, people! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! Happy belated birthday to our beloved Monkees: Davy Jones and Mike Nesmith, Micky Dolenz, and Peter Tork. Also, I have to greet mah peeps back home in the Philippines a Happy New Year! Mahal ko kayong lahat! Happy 2013!!!!! I will update one of my stories if I have time. I also pray for those people who were perished and were involved in the Connecticut shooting. I pray for the students's family, the teachers's family, their friends, students who were neighbours with their classmates, and Peter Tork's hometown to be safe, and may God bring peace to all. Furthermore: Here's ALL ABOUT ME! :) I immigrated to Canada and I've been here for two and a half years now; please understand that English isn't my second language so excuse my writing on stories. I also love The Monkees! Yes, I do! This is kinda weird, but I discovered the Monkees in a book that I read called The Awakening by Kelley Armstrong (you should read the first series: The Summoning... it's actually cool.) I found the Monkees on the part where Chloe, a necromancer who manipulates ghost without even trying, and her friend Derek a werewolf, escaped from a group home for disturbed kids, at Lyle House were doctors/ scientist 'rehabilitate' them, and they went on a train to go to Derek's uncle's house, Andrew to help them escape from the scientists as far away as possible; anyways, Chloe got tired from running away so she fell asleep when she heard Derek singing an off- key 'Daydream Believer' Chloe hummed some part of the song; when she was little, her mother used to sing her that song. I got so curious about the Monkees, so I looked it up on youtube to listen to Daydream Believer; at first I thought it was weird, because the lyrics didn't make sense but it was catchy, and then I saw a video clip about them singing I'm a Believer. I was like ' Hey, I heard of this song from the movie Shrek!' I got so into it and I also realized that they had a TV show too; this is where I was obsessed with Mike for a while because he was a witty, funny, and an incredible person, and then I started liking Peter Tork he was a sweet, innocent, dimpled grin, funny, smart, phenominal, musical person I ever seen. At first one of the episode wasn't funny, but then I watched one of their episodes like Fairy Tale, it cracked me up; My brother and I started getting used to it and we got a Monkees album, too; just one album which it sucks and we also want to go to one of their concerts and get autographs and take pictures with them. I was sad that Davy Jones passed away; my condolences for the Davy fans out there, his family, and his friends, and the Monkees; I saw him on SpongeBob, too which was hilarious. My friends think I'm weird, because I love cute guys in the 60s who were now 70 and old, but I don't care. That's who I am, I love old people! I mostly listen to country, jazz, blues, rock and roll, 60s, 70s, and 80s songs. I'm loud (not really loud that really annoys you or anything), I'm a bit perky, I'd get excited and maybe I'll talk a bit too fast, I am weird, random, yet very considerably bashful and very serious. I take music very seriously. I befriended people, trying to fit in. Some other people in one of my classes thinks I have a lot of friends, but no, I don't. I have a few friends and I choose them carefully. I see the good things in them and loyalty and trust was what I was looking for. I had a hard time trusting other people, and before... that was the time I've been losing my faith around with them. I've gotten a bit smarter about dealing with people. I disliked people who weren't trying to be themselves, I dislike people that would pretend to like something, a band or a song way back then like the 60s, for instance, even though they don't even know them. Even someone who wanted attention, very conceited and self-centered (Just. Shut. Up.). I hate eavesdroppers. I don't like very arrogant people, cocky ones that you just want to punch in the face. I prefer to have an intellectual conversation with others rather than talking about unnecessary little things. I hang out with people sure, but I'd prefer to be alone at times even taking walks at the park or anywhere. I'd prefer hanging outside maybe take pictures of the natural beauty of the environment. Other stuff about me: Favourite Bands: Ghost Town, Big Time Rush, Mariana's Trench, Paramore, Breath Carolina, Marilyn Manson, Sony & Cher, Queen, The Monkees, The Beatles, The Turtles, Mamas and Papas, Beach Boys, Eric Clapton, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, The Byrds, Taylor Swift, James Taylor, The Eagles, Darryl Hall & John Oates, Michael Jackson, Toto, The Police, and Colbie Caillat. I don't listen to the now music that much... (as long as their good) like Nikki Minaj, or Rebecca Black, but I listened to Taylor Swift and some of the other songs that are mainstream really, but mostly I'm inclined to what my dad's listen to everyday. It's really hard to explain... I don't know how to hate music... Sure taste in music differs.. I just like songs that are catchy, (even though, the song doesn't make any sense like Firefly by Owl City and Killer Queen by Queen). When I grow up, I want to be a musician; I live up for music so much, I got so hang up, I want to make songs and learn more music instruments; I play piano (barely) and guitar, I love playing with my guitar, I want to learn how to fingerstyle one of the songs that I play; I also played the solo for Something by The Beatles for the hundredth time! Favourite Food(s): I can't control myself when there's food everywhere! I really don’t have a particular favorite. When I’m hungry, I eat whatever is around. Hobbies: is writing fan fiction, reading, listening to songs, singing, dancing and MUSIC! I don't compose (well, I want to) music is my dream! Favourite Monkee: Peter Halsten Thorkelson (I love Davy, Micky, and Mike, though. Yes I DOOO!!! But still, I mostly love Peter!) Favourite Clothing: ...I dig nutty shirts and I am constantly looking for new ones. I also love vintage clothing. It looked so groovy. Favourite TV Show(s): Friends! :D Ghost Whisperer, Big Time Rush, Good Luck Charlie, The Brady Bunch, Mystery Detective, The Monkees, Big Bang Theory (BAZINGA!), That's 70s Show (BURN!!!), and How I Met Your Mother, American Idol, Master Chef, Kitchen's Nightmare, Myth Busters, and Pawn Stars. Favourite Animal(s): Cat, dog, chameleon, dolphin, giraffe, Appaloosa (a type of horse), cheetah, puma, Prairie chicken, The Turtles, The Byrds, The Bees, and The Monkees. Favourite Movie: Here Comes The BOOM! Favourite Sports: Swimming and Tennis. I recommend for you guys to try swimming, because it's the best sport and you move around the water a lot; and you don't even have to be sweaty! (except you'll smell like shitty chlorine, even you tried shampooing your hair twice.) Favourite Monkee quotes/quirks: "Don't do that" and "Do fish swim?" my favourite quirk :) DAVY'S: "A man in love, has a strength of thousands." "People always expect you to be jumping out of a Rolls Royce and being in the papers for drunk and disorderly or sleeping around." "You must be joking?!" "I am standing up." "Doesn't smell Liverpuddlian to me." "Oh, Mike. He got me in/ through the kidneys!" "A man in love, has the strength of thousands." "Holy frog legs, that really makes me angry." MICKY'S: "You do, and I'll be sorry!" "Isn't that dumb?" "You're the dirty rat that killed my brother!" "Well, Papa Bear kinda want me to hang around." "Cuz I'm a mean little girl!" "They also have insufferable tortures here on earth. Whenever a pussycat cries, they tear off its head, then they holler in its ear. Then they put the head back on the body. I don't know how it stays alive." "Love is the ultimate trip." MIKE'S: "Your house, shotgun, not mine." "Down, peasant!" "Shut up, or I'll have you paved!" "Wait a minute, now wait just a minute!" "There is a certain logic to events that pushes you along a certain path. You go along the path that feels the most true, and most according to the principles that are guiding you, and that's the way the decisions are made." "As an artist, you don't think about the parabola or the arc you're describing or where you're going to ultimately end up, you're just kind of crawling around, seeing what's out there." "Some ways of using our thinking are really inspiring. There are people who use their thinking to race cars. People use their thinking to build rockets to the moon. It's all just a use of your thinking." "Save The Texas Prairie Chicken." PETER'S: "I myself am deeply jealous." "Kretch?!" "Well, that's very refreshing." "My spine thanks you." "Any more of this, I'm gonna get another princess to worship." "God is LOVE." "Pop music is aspirin and the blues are vitamins." "Eat your heart out." "Put you energy into music. If it fails you, you can become an accountant or a dentist. And then if you become a dentist or an accountant, it's too late to become a musician afterwards." "Pop music, disco music, and heavy metal music is about shutting out the tensions of life, putting it away." "The blues brings you back into the fold. The blues isn't about the blues, it's about we have all had the blues and we are all in this together." Favourite Word: is more than a word. It’s The Word—and the word is love. Love is really a way of life. I strongly recommend it to one and all. Everybody in the world needs love, and I’d wish that we all would really love one another. "We were born to love one another; this is something we all need, we were born to love one another; we must be what we're going to be, and what we have to be is free" (For Pete's Sake by The Monkees) AND NOW I'M GONNA GO OUT SINGIN' "Truly Understand" Peter Tork!!! Remember what you said my dear When we stood side by side You swore, you'll love no one but me And be no other man's bride my dear, be no other man's bride And I truly understand that you love another man, and your heart shall no longer be mine. I wish to the Lord I never been born nor died when I was young, And see them two brown eyes of yours Nor heard the flattering tongue my dear, heard the flattering tongue And I truly understand that you love another man, and your heart shall no longer be mine. Who's gonna shoe your pretty little foot? Who's gonna glove your hand? Who's gonna kiss your ruby red lips, when I'm in a foreign land my dear? When I'm in a foreign land And I truly understand that you love another man, and your heart shall no longer be mine. And I truly understand that you love another man, and your heart shall no longer be mine. Sooooo, there you have it, now you know who I am. I appreciate people who read my first fanfic; I'm a bookworm in the family I love reading novels it got me into writing the Monkees fanfic. Again like I said, English is not my first language, I tried my best on writing this story. So enjoy and SAVE THE TEXAS PRAIRIE CHICKEN!!!
