Okay, I'm 19, a total Lord of the Rings fan from Utah...I don't like slash so you'll never see me writing it. I have an overactive imagination fueled by my three younger siblings, who at times, are the devil's spawn. I love gelato (the Italian version of ice cream), chocolate, forensics (debate), singing, art, reading, and writing and I am constantly stalked by Huggable Bunnies and Purple Spotted Iguanas, so I give them away.

Recently one of my favorite TV shows "Joan of Arcadia" was cancelled. I am among the many fans of the show that are very upset about this and are attempting to get CBS to reconsider. There is a LiveJournal community "SaveJoan" dedicated to this as well as a website: http://www.savejoanofarcadia.com

MY CURRENT STORY "MAY ANGELS LEAD YOU IN" IS NOW ON HOLD DUE TO WRITIER'S BLOCK AND THE EVILNESS THAT IS REAL LIFE. Okay, so I've been asked what my penname means, so here it is: Lalaith=laughter in Elvish and Bruinen=the name of the river boardering/running through Rivendell, called the Brandywine by Men and Hobbits in the Shire and surrounding towns like Bree. Bruinen=Loudwater. So, my name is Laughter of the Loudwater. Whew. That was long. Anyway, someone asked, I forgot who, sorry, but there is the answer. I like to laugh so I thought the name fit...That and think about it, a river can laugh/sound like it is speaking and writing is speaking in a way...
