Author has written 1 story for Legend of Zelda. Howdy! The name's Garrett. I'm a graphic designer by trade, but a passion that I have always enjoyed and had a massive passion for in addition to art is writing. It's my intention to, within the next year, write a novel out of the story that has been banging around my head for the last 6 years waiting to get out. Problem is, as a recent college grad, the bulk of my last several years have been schoolwork, honing my design skills, and writing that is decidedly... academic... and definitely not the kind of writing one enjoys doing :P So, in order to both get back in "shape" as it were in writing stories, as well as cutting my teeth in actually finishing multiple projects, I decided to come here :) Got a few friends roundabouts these parts that say this is an awesome community, so I definitely can't wait to meet you all! You'll most likely be seeing Zelda-based projects from me, as well as some Naruto; nothing too over-reaching, as I only have one multi-parter in the works right now, and even then, I have it to the point where it could be a single part by the way it's resolved. However, I'm also considering some Megaman Zero as well, which I hold to have some of the best narrative in the Megaman franchise. Additionally, I have a bit of a "gimmick" style that I may or may not go forward with involving existing song lyrics coupled with a narrative, I just haven't figured out the best way to execute that yet. You can follow me on Tumblr! http://gl-stuff.tumblr.com/ This is where I mostly talk about music and re-blog stupid/funny pictures :P but as the time gets closer, I'm sure I'll be talking about my novel on there as well :) I also occasionally write music reviews on absolutepunk.net. Here's one you can read, and the rest are linked on the page under "More from this author": http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=2902762 And although I'm busy, if you suggest a story for me, I'll try my best to make time to write it :) 'Til then... Allons-Y! (Yes, I'm a Whovian too ;) ) | |||||||
