ABOUT ME

Call me Selah. I'm a poor, struggling college student who majors in something new every other week. Procrastination is my arch-nemesis. (I plan to fight it, starting tomorrow!) I read a great many things (my favourite genre is early Gothic fiction, in all the glory of its haunted castles, swooning damsels, and excessively FANTASTICAL HORRORS). I listen to an even greater number of stories (be they of the short, speculative, or YA persuasion). I write stuff: book reviews, page-long comments, angsty poetry, angsty original fiction, and would-be epic fanfiction. My fandoms include The Legend of Zelda, Super Smash Brothers, Inheritance Cycle, and The Chronicles of Narnia, though I have yet to write Inheritance or Narnia fic. When I am not reading, listening, or writing, I enjoy voice acting and outlining elaborate plans to fight procrastination, to be implemented sometime in the rosy future.

ABOUT MY FIC

I currently am only writing actively for the Legend of Zelda fandom. (Because after 2004, I lost my sense of sense of humour somewhere in the SSBM fandom and haven't written much interesting SSB since. The operative word here being "interesting.") I'm getting back into the practice of oneshots for the sake of discipline and those toothsome words, "The End" - see The Dregs of Noontide (MM), She Moved Through the Fair (AU OoT), and Blue Sky Above A Garden (Oot). Whether I'll finish my longer fics - Let the World Smile (AU; TP-verse) and Moonstruck (AU OoT) are up for debate - I've resolved, new year after new year, to resist the horror of Dead Fic, but new year after new year, I feel less and less motivated to finish them, :( All my SSB fic is complete (but ancient - so beware of questionable humour, verbiage, and angry!Marth, x3).

As for current and upcoming projects: there's nothing definite on the horizon. My attempts to finish LTWS and MS are becoming increasingly lackluster. I've brainstormed various oneshot collections (a bunch of Malon fics; a project wherein I write a short story for every LoZ character in the drop-down list on FFN; and a trilogy of novellas that play havoc with the canon roles of Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf) but none of those brainstorming sessions have produced anything more substantial than outlines. So we'll see. There is a good chance that I'll rewrite some of my old fics (some never before posted), so if you want to look forward to anything, look forward to that, x3
