I love to act, paint, draw, sing (folk, classical, modern, and Broadway), love to ride horses (English and Western), read, write (duh), make stuff like clothes or quill pens or inks or paper... Um... I love ancient, Irish and Irish-American history, mythology of all sorts, my Irish heritage (hence the email addy) sci-fi, fantasy, fiction... UPDATED 6/08 Hey, all. No, I haven't abandoned any fics; grad school took one heckuva lot more time than I anticipated. And that was only one class. :( Plus there's been some family things and friend things (weddings, and a buddy got his foot blown off by a bomber), so I've been a bit distracted, to say the least. Also, the plotlines just didn't want to behave. so, there're my excuses for abandoning one of my many hobbies temporarily. updates will be coming forthwith, just be patient a leeetle while longer. ch 30 of Xanadu is nearly ready, and next slated after that is Enticement, and i'm also reviewing black with a fine-tooth comb for plot holes and typos. suggestions always welcome.
That said, reviews are also always helpful to kick my brain in gear :) --Alara
6/07: Soon to be started: After I finish "Xanadu" and "Black is the Colour," two more X-men fics, one to be co-authored with the incomparable Eileen Blazer! That one will involve a snowstorm, a soaked Cajun, Rogue, an abandoned house in the woods--and the rest of the (teenaged, unsupervisory) X-Men. Should be fun, I think Scott slipped in the snow and got something wedged somewhere, but the story is still being born. We'll see.
ALSO 6/07: Also, a fic that's dying to be written, please email me & let me know if you think it'd be worth my while. Sort of a movieverse Rogue crossover with Evolution Rogue, at age 14, with her first "real boyfriend" in Bobby, who she can't touch... who she catches with another girl. Well, one way and another (I'm not saying how, yet) the fleeing Rogue gets tossed into the arms of an adoptive family for a couple of years, and then into the arms of her very own knight in shining armor, Remy. (Pay attention to my wording here. Points for people who guess before I post.) Some time will pass in all sorts of crazy ways, and Rogue will meet Bobby again, when they're older, and she's very with Remy. And she totally will get her revenge, in the best way a girl can, muahahaha. Thoughts, anyone?
