My native language is german, I was living for 5 years in Canada for most of the time and so I'm back in Germany since September 2012 I didn't abandon english and read and watch everything I can in english. I miss speaking it and occasionally have trouble with german words.
Way back in the day I used to write stories for myself and I think anyone else would have found them silly. I still think any story I can come up with would be silly besides if I would wrote one I would try to write it in english and so I think my english is okay I don't think I would be confident enough to think it's good enough to publicly in it.

In September 2012 I was looking for something to do on the internet and remembered that about 10 years ago I liked watching DB and more so DBZ. Since I missed some episodes I was running a marathon on the episodes and after that I remembered how much I loved the show and was upset when it ended. So I was looking further online found Team Four Star, Dragon Ball Multiverse and ended up on FanFiction to satisfy my hunger for more DBZ.

I thank all writers on FF that are brave enough to put there ideas and interpretations down on how life could have been for the characters of DBZ. Also it is nice to read some stories because sometimes it shows aspects and/or reactions of characters that could have quite possible and help put more depths in the characters we all love because everyone looks at them from a different angle depending on the way people grew up.
I love discovering things about a character that I hadn't thought about thanks to a good story.

In case you have noticed looking at my favourites, Gohan and Videl is my favourite couple and there are so many stories out there that I haven't got around to read stories about other couples. Gohan is definitely my favourite character I think it's because we basically see him growing up and he had a hard live. Also I'm a bit upset how he and other characters turned out at the end of DBZ. Personally I found the way Gohan was viewed past the Cell Games in some aspects a bit inconsistent with the way he grew up especially considering what he went through I think there where more possibilities for him.

For pairings in general I prefer canon couples. They are stories which I consider as really good where it doesn't bother me that they don't have canon pairings.

I'm not a big fan of DBGT, some things just don't add up and I think they could have done a lot more with it. Pan is rather annoying, Goten is not in it even though he would be one of the ones of the next generation Z-fighters and he got a dumb girlfriend, Gohan was kicked out of the main plot after I was looking forward that he was going to be in it, Videl is missing way to much of the bad ass attitude that we came to know, Trunks seems almost tame and so responsible.
I just find the characters didn't grow as much as they could have.
Why is Pan an only child when it feels like Gohan and Videl are so in love at the end of DBZ?
Why does earth blow up again? I already didn't like that it blew up in the Buu Saga and I think Piccolo deserved a better death. Just to name a few things.

Good luck to all future authors and even if you don't get a lot of reviews I hope you don't loose your motivation to write.
As a reader I can only say there are so many stories out there and some times it takes a while to find the good ones.
Or maybe you just wrote something that not a lot of people have thought about, want to read about or search for.
