Author has written 19 stories for Stargate: Atlantis, and Stargate: SG-1. If nobody could tell, I'm totally and completely OBSESSED with Dr. Carson Beckett of Stargate Atlantis. I share him like a good little girl, but I rarely ship him with any on-screen characters. Any Shippy fics I write with him are for the enjoyment of my friends, who do ship him. You'll also notice that my "Beckett" is not the poor tortured soul some writers choose to write him as. My version of Carson Beckett is stronger than that, he does feel the guilt of some of the things he's done, he does feel the pain of loss and he does occasionally have his moments, but he is not in a fragile state of mind. I choose not to turn his open display of emotion into a weakness, but to use it as a strength.
