I'm from Barcelona (Spain), 28 years old and Scorpio.

I've been a fan of J. K. Rowling for a couple of years now, since I read her first 4 books in a row. During the long years that passed waiting for the 5th book in the HP series, I discovered this site and have been enjoying many good stories with my favourite HP characters since. Until now I hadn't thought about writing fan fiction myself, since I don't usually write and prefer reading instead, but then one day I just thought 'why not?', and here I am now. :)

Though English is not my mother tongue, I have read all the HP books in English, so when I finally decided I wanted to try and write a story, it just came to my mind in English. How have been translated the Wolfsbane Potion or the Blast-Ended-Skrewts into Spanish, anyway? I really don't know, but I truly pity -and envy at the same time- the poor translator responsible for the job. Writing in a foreign language is probably going to be a bit difficult, specially at the beginning, but it will be a good exercise to improve my English too, so...
