I'm 24, hail from the state of Florida, and have lurked her at ff.net for some time, but only started writing shortly after the release of Dead Man's Chest. My main fandom right now is Pirates of the Caribbean, and you can pretty much count on my stories to involve a good deal of the wickedly charming Captain Hector Barbossa. Which reminds me -

A few things I don't like to see in fictions from any fandom:

Mary Sues. I swear, there is a special place in hell for each and every one of them.

OOC fics. Honestly, if you're going to take someone out of character (ie, give Jack Sparrow a shave and have him turn into a hopeless romantic who gives up drinking and speaks proper English), then I don't see the point in writing fanfiction at all. Just let yourself be inspired and write an original work.

Fateful Irony My first ever attempt at fanfiction, and oddly enough, remains my most popular piece _ Now complete, HUZZAH!

Home A plotbunny that attacked and threatened to eat my brains if I didn't put it into story form. It's a modest, sappy little story of friendship, comfort, and delightfully platonic Barbossabeth.

Sweet Penalty This one wrote itself, and I'm very happy with it. At this point, I really have no idea how I could go about expanding upon it, though people keep pestering me to :P

Wolfen Was supposed to be my first smut piece, but it is what it is. Pretty damn sexy if I say so myself!

Misery Loves Company This was an interesting one, as I never, ever would have though I could get that pair to work, and it's my only slash fiction to date. Again, having had my mind corrupted by AWE, I would probably never attempt to do these with these two again, LOL.

Lupus I had to do it. I just had to. I love Captain Barbossa, and I have a strong, inexplicable werewolf fetish. It was only a matter of time before I combined them. The "What if" fic prompt at the LiveJournal Barbossabeth community was exactly the excuse I needed to finally get this one out in the open. Terror and seduction!

Master and Commander Done strictly for the Halloween prompt "Worst nightmare ever" for the pirategasm LJ community. Otherwise I'm never, ever this mean to poor Barbossa.
