A note from Ji-chan regarding "Bittersweet Victory" & "Darkness".
Considering how long it has been since I have updated either one of the above stories and my past reassurances given to the readers of them they would not be dropped, I feel that I owe not only an apology but an explanation as to their dormant state. First off, while not dropped, both stories are currently in a state of prolonged hiatus. Shortly before work on them ceased a lot of very personal issues arose and unfortunately these two stories got caught in the crossfire. Irregardless of the fact that neither of them were in any way connected with the issues and happenings of my personal life they still became intertwined with the events and emotions of that time. Whenever I have tried to go back to them I find myself lost once more in that time, in the emotional turmoil that I felt and that is something that I still cannot fully deal with. I am hoping that in time this will no longer be the case and I can go back and finish these stories not just for you the readers, but for myself as well. I love them both dearly as they were my first efforts into writing and it would please me greatly to see them completed. To all the readers who are still waiting out there, I sincerely apologize and can simply say that I am sorry. - Ji-chan.
