Hello, My name is Shawn (who'll probably end up being the principle character in any stories I make) and Im somewhere between 15-32 depending on who you ask and what circles you find me in, but if you ask me I think its pretty safe to assume Im from California and in my teenage years :)
Some people find me annoying, intriguing,hyper, and others still...smart. I find it strange that people fear what they dont know, and instead of trying to understand it/them they run and shun (wow those ryhme!! maybe I should start poetry...or not)it/them.
I find stereotypes very repulsive, along people who try to "analyze" people and fit them into generic categories. I think its very insulting to ever assume that 2 people are alike, not that people cant be similiar or have things in common but the most basic part of being sentient is that everybody is going to be different.
Some of my most favorite quotes are as follows (or at least pretty close):

"I may not believe in what you say, but I'll die for your right to say it"
-somebody I would like to meet, but they're probably already dead, oh well it has great meaning though!!!

"The darker the shadow, the greater the light is that cast the shadow"
-a quote from a random Star Wars book, again I think that even though it comes from a fiction book, that doesnt take away its wisdom.

I would also like to say that I respect all of you, your following your dreams and passion, I've previously only extensively written non-fiction things about polotics, science, and computer things and although to write those requires more head knowledge Im starting to understand that good fiction is yet the hardest to write.
To be able to see a situation in all different perspectives requires an open mind, and an imagination. To put those thoughts on paper is still even harder, but all this is required from a good fiction writer. And for that I admire you!
