| Dancing in Red |
Author has written 1 story for Band of Brothers. Hey everybody. 'Tis Dancing in Red. I can't remember what I was before I changed my name. I changed the name probably around 2005, because the idea of a woman dancing in red, outside in the autumn weather with leaves falling down all around her (in shades of brilliant yellow and orange) struck me as ridiculously beautiful. Location: New England. What I Like: Classical music. History. Traveling. Writing. Ayn Rand. Metal music. Walking for long periods of time, especially on nice autumn days. Cups of tea. Cups of (black) coffee. Doing and learning new things. Actions in conjunction with words. Making money. Academic work (which doesn't make money). Opera. Morbid humor. German art from the Weimar period (morbid, sick, twisted). The 1940s. Vintage clothing. Shopping. Purses and shoes. Baking decadent foods and telling other people I used light butter when I really didn't (just because I don't want it to go to waste). Ringing in Jack and Cokes at work instead of Jack and Diet Cokes when women (who are not diabetic) are being rude to me (enjoy the calories, bitch). Favorite Books: Anna Karenina. Atlas Shrugged. The works of Franz Kafka. The Dead (by James Joyce). Television I Enjoy (On Occasion): Doctor Who, Top Gear, University Challenge, Jeopardy!, Law & Order: SVU, Stargate: SG-1 Miniseries That Amaze Me: Band of Brothers, The Forsyte Saga, Into the West Inspiration: Currahee. Hiking on Bear Mountain. Architecture. Great books that came before me. History. Story Info: - Here, Where the World is Quiet: A Speirs/OC fic. It's starting out with a T rating but it will probably be changed to an M in a few chapters or so. I promise not to disappoint. ;) Stories To Come: I had a Cowboy Bebop fanfic called "Tangled Up in Blue", which I removed from the website (long story). It was possibly one of my favorite stories that I've written -- in addition to being one of my favorite Spike/Faye fics. I enjoyed reading it and I enjoyed writing it. Unfortunately, my hard drive decided to die on me -- and, you know how it goes -- people tell you to back shit up only AFTER you tell them that you've lost all of your work. A lotta good that did me! Anyways, I plan on re-writing Tangled Up in Blue from what I remember. I was younger when I wrote it so I can only guarantee that the spelling and vocabulary will be better the second time around -- and it's gonna be hella sexier. - A possible Winters/OC fic for Band of Brothers. It might just end up being a drama/adventure type of thing rather than a romance, though. The story wants what the story wants. And, of course, leave me a review! I looooooooove reviews. They're pretty and cute and shiny and so very nice. | |||||||
