Author has written 16 stories for Mulan, Redwall, Lion King, Pinky and the Brain, Simpsons, and Horton Hears a Who. Kind words do not cost much. Yet they accomplish much. That man is a genius, please give people kind comments, don't let them down they need someone to let them know that they are doing a good job. Tell them to keep trying, don't tell them to give up. Update: November 11th 2009 Chapter 2 of Simpazon is up, horray and junk! Status of my stories--current projects Simpazon Tales From Beyond the Pridelands Stories that may come soon The Way We Never Should have Been--Simpsons Story Bart and Lisa Meet Candle Jack Well a lot has changed since I've been on here. The first two years I joined was quiet, then Memoirs of a Blue Bird came around and I got more reviews than I ever thought possible. I made tons of friends, sadly only about two or three are still around and that's actually kind of sad to think about too because some were downright awesome. I'm talking to you MorpheusDreamer whereever you are. Doing stories about the Lion King is fun but it kind of gets depressing after a while and you just don't want to be around the story any more. And thats when the Simpsons invaded my life and I've had so much fun coming up with ideas. They are more fun but they don't get into any wierd situations like The Lion King, that's why I have that tales story. If you are new to my stories then I welcome you but I must warn you, please do not read anything before 2005. Those are the beginning years where I was still new to writing. I would deleat those old stories but they are like my children, I don't have any heart to deleat them so I just let them sit there for those who are willing to go through and read my horrible writing style. Random info about me I'm in my early 20s, yeah I don't feel like updating once a year You all are probably wondering where I got the name Narfy. Well back in 10th grade I was nuts for Pinky and the Brain, I still am but its been toned down quite a bit. Any way my friend and I were thinking of nicknames for each other and she said why not Fran because its backwards for Narf, I said no thats just icky. Then she said how about narfgirl and I fell in love with that name. I was Narfgirl for a few years on here before a reader kept calling me Narfy and i liked it a lot better so I became Narfy and I plan to keep it that way. And now you know the rest of the story. My deviantart account. Mostly photography, some drawings that I hope to do more of, and an original story called Blaze. Check it out, its not too bad. Lion King Fan art archive. Haven't updated in forever, but feel free to enjoy what I used to do. Favorite Crap! Favorite Movies: Horton Hears A Who, O Brother Where Art Thou, All the Indiana Jones Movies, Back to the Future Trilogy, As Good as It gets, Smokey and the Bandit, The Shawshank Redemption, Secondhand Lions, The Princess Bride, Mulan, Brother Bear, America's Sweethearts, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Emperors New Groove, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Hellboy 1 and 2, and many others that have slipped my mind at the moment. Favorite TV shows: THE SIMPSONS!! Futurama, American Dad, House M.D. Mythbusters, Dirty Jobs (mmmmmm...Mike Rowe), Planet Earth, Fairly Oddparents, Spongebob Squarepants, Everybody Loves Raymond, 24. And whatever else can tickle my fancy. Favorite Singers and Bands; Matchbox Twenty, Maroon 5, Tim McGraw, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Kenny Chesney (hotness), Rascal Flatts, Eric Clapton, Dave Matthews Band, Alan Jackson, Aerosmith, Bob Dylan, Bob Seager, Bruce Springsteen, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Goo Goo Dolls, Coldplay, Steve Miller Band and whoever else is hanging around on my ipod I like. Favorite Authors and books written in a new way because the old way looked confusing as all hell. The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan: Most of you have probably read this in high school, I commend the teacher for doing this because if they haven't I would have gone insane reading those other stories that just hurt my head. What I love about this novel is the fact that there are short stories from each of the families in there and all of them are so fascinating. If you have read this and enjoyed it then check out The Kitchen Gods Wife. Marley and Me by John Grogan: Now I rarely cry at the end of books, usually I just heave a big sigh and move on to the next story in line. But I was reading the end at my colleges cafeteria and thank god I was hiding in a corner because I was crying my eyes out. I had a dog just like him so it hit home for me. The book also made me laugh so everything evened itself out. I loved it. The Redwall series by Brian Jaques: If you haven't read these then you are missing out. Basically its mice, hares, badgers, voles, and moles playing the good guys and fighting with swords and stotes, foxes, wildcats and ferrets fight them to controll mossflower. I love these books. Favorite is Pearls of Lutra followed closely by The Taggerung. The warrior series by Erin Hunter: I have read the first two parts of the series and I still have yet to read the third but these stories are really good. Kitties can be so evil and Forest of Secrets is probably the best out of all of them since so much is going on and it all ties together kind of nicely. I am still slightly pissed that Whitestorm died though, he was cool. Fire Bringer by David Clement Davies: OMG I know what some of you are thinking. Deer? As the main hero? What the hell is wrong with you? All I need to say is read it! It is amazing! He also wrote another book called The Sight which has one of the most depressing endings ever, didn't make me cry though. He has a sequal out to it called Fell and I am still waiting for the paperback and its been out for nearly two years now, its so annoying. Digital Fortress By Dan Brown: Now I know many of you have read The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons but I still think his best work is Digital Fortress, some of the best action sequences ever written for a book and I hope that they do make it into a movie one day. I was just blown away and on the edge of my seat the whole time. The Street Lawyer by John Grisham: This is one of many John Grisham novels I have read and this is so far my favorite. Now I know what some of you are thinking "Wow Narfy reads lawyer books!" I just like to broaden my horizons and read different things. I'm mostly into animals as the main character but every now and then I will stray away from that and read actual adult stories, I'm just wierd that way I guess. But check some of his stories out, they are very well done. Another good one would be A Painted House. A Salty Piece of Land by Jimmy Buffet: I love Jimmy Buffet and I had to read his novel, its well done and a fun read even though there are a few parts in it where the main character is having one night stands with women but that ends by the next chapter. I just like how the story takes you to a tropical paradise as he searches for the things he needs. Just a great yarn. Silverwing by Kenneth Oppell: another one of those OMG wierd animals as the main character. Yeah they are bats but these bats kick ass. you'll understand if you ever read it. The Han Solo Trilogy by A.C. Crispin: Now if you are a star wars fan like me and your favorite character is Han Solo then I suggest you read these books. They are amazing and have some great battle scenes in them. Basically they are about Han Solo before he meets Luke Skywalker. This is his story about how he meets Chewbacca and makes that Kessle run. Yeah they are great, so read them. I would also recommend Harry Potter but then again I don't really have to because everyone has read that book. And no I do NOT recommend Twilight. That's all I have for now, but check them out when you have the time, books are fun. Favorite quote from my favorite movie As Good As it Gets Random late night insanity between me and bdlywrttn Narfy: and I think the bra I am wearing has increased my breast size Bdlywrttn and I discussing fanfiction and making the mistake of misspelling things. And then saying really weird stuff that makes us sound really cocky but don't worry we are not. Bdlywrttn: I did like the pound cake/angel food cake thingy New hilariousness Narfy: and I still don't like chapter 20 Yes we are insane. That's it for now, sorry for the long rants. | |||||||||
