Author has written 10 stories for Harry Potter, Real Adventures of Jonny Quest, Red Eye, and House, M.D.. My name is Allison. I'm a twenty-five-year-old research nurse from the Nashville, Tennessee area of the United States. I have an atrocious case of Wanderlust and to help tame it, I spend my summers in Ghana, a wonderful country in West Africa. When I'm there, I spend my time between Hohoe and the adjoining village of Kledjo where I work at a boarding school for mentally challenged students that was historically referred to as the Volta School but is in the process of switching over to the name Gbi Special School following a branching off from the Volta School for the Deaf. Other attempts at containing said Wunderlust have ended in me living in three other states and two countries in addition to visiting almost every country in western Europe. I enjoy photography, especially of Ghanaian subjects because they are truly the most beautiful people in the world. My photography can be found on the page linked above and egads I love comments on it. Other interests of mine include epidemiology, the use of dogs as a form of therapy, researching medical topics for absolutely no good reason, drinking boba tea and, for those who are initiated into a large part of my world, enturbulatin'. I'm a hardcore Mahayana Buddhist if there's such a thing. Before switching over to nursing, I was a history and East Asian studies double major with a minor in French. As a result, I know a lot about completely useless things and understand French almost completely and Japanese to a certain extent. My biggest non-career goal is visiting North Korea because I'm completely convinced it has to be one of the weirdest places on earth.
