Author has written 7 stories for Digimon, Journey to the West/西遊記, and Darkness. Want me to tell you the meaning of life? Thats one question that keeps bugging me. I can only provide an approximation. Life in 3th density is determine your orientation towards others. Further, often you will need to take decisions. These decisions have different "orientations", sometimes you act out of self-interest, sometimes you do something for someone else. At the end of your life you will either be rather caring, rather selfish or something in between (undecided). Think about it. It is the essential step before you can reach up to the "sky". The "elite", how you call them, gained their position because the different orientations use different means of reaching their goals. Ruthless egoists would pretty much do anything whereas caring people would avoid certain means like violency. So what is going on, on earth, is absolutely normal in the means of an intelligent-, conscious-species. My estimations are that humanity will change their direction on the verge of a mass-extinction.
