On another note, thank you to everyone who has sent me letters of support and kindness since my hiatus announcement in January. Your thoughts were very much appreciated and touching to me. A lot of things have changed. I'm a different person now than I used to be. I've gotten involved in bigger things - though not necessarily better ones - and I'm sad to say that, at least for now, my career in fanfiction appears to be over. Discovering and writing fanfiction has been one of the most important steps in my writing career. FFN has helped me learn many important things I needed to know to become a successful writer. How to take criticism, how to accept and consider other people's opinions, and how to create a well-rounded character are the foremost lessons. Unfortunately, a good writer also knows when she is in over her head. She knows how to prioritize, no matter how painful it is to do so. So, here it is - me, admitting that I cannot do everything and still have everything. I'm writing a novel, going to school, and working. I also have a social life to uphold and a high school graduation to prepare for. Things being as they are, I have simply found I don't have enough time to write fanfiction anymore. That doesn't mean I'll never do so again. I believe fanfiction is something that stays with you forever, at least to a certain extent. I'm sure inspiration will strike again. This is in no way goodbye. I will still be around the site and posting on the forums. However, I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone who has read and reviewed my stories. Each of you played a role in advancing my writing career and making me a better writer, which is for me the most important thing one could do. I'd also like to apologize to all of you for abandoning my fanfiction-writing so suddenly. It took me a long time, you see, to come to terms with not doing it anymore. This does unfortunately mean that all of my fics are on indefinite hiatus. Again, sorry, especially to my loyal readers.
