Author has written 38 stories for Hogan's Heroes, and Scrubs. Hi there, I'm an American living in Australia, who loves being a mum, theatre, cross-stitching and writing! I love making friends, and I've made some wonderful ones thanks to "Hogan's Heroes" and the "instant gratification" of the 'net. It was intended as a one-off thing to write fan fic... but it's obviously gone a lot farther than that now! I have also written collaboratively with another writer, under the name "wordybirds", and more recently, have posted a couple of "Scrubs" fics, because they just presented themselves, and I started posting in the "Red Dwarf" arena, under the name "Linda J G" (a bit of insanity never hurts anyone)... but somehow never finished it (sorry). I am a great supporter of good writing-- that is, writing with a plot, with elements of style, with correct grammar, with good spelling, and with some in depth research that does not pull the reader out of his/her world of agreed-to suspended disbelief because there's a glaring error that could have easily been avoided. Thanks so much for your support and feedback (all feedback gratefully accepted). Please feel free to keep giving it (those who read should feel something when they do-- good or bad, it's important to hear it)! And feel free to say hello any time. I promise I don't bite! Cheers! 29 August 09- In regards to the bio, when I thought I was just about done interviewing, some more people came aboard-- some VERY IMPORTANT people in the story. No, not all famous people, but all people who have stories to tell and information to share. I'm still in "wow" mode over many of the people I've had since April come forward, and it's starting to look more and more like I'm not going to be writing for another 6 months. But that's okay. This project is about getting it RIGHT, so I'd rather take a little more time than hurry up and miss important information. So please hold on a little longer! Sorry I don't seem to be as prolific in my HH writing lately... it's all because of the bio. And the puppy, who is a lot bigger now (60 pounds!) and needs lots of exercise. But mostly the bio. And life. Life-- it gets in the way of what I wanna do! (Hey, that sounds like a motto) I've been writing both serious and funny HH lately, so whatever you're in the mood for, there's bound to be something there. And I've found that a lot of my stories are running "short' lately-- as in, 4 -8 chapters. So you can clean them up in a sitting or two, if that's your pleasure. Please don't forget to leave a comment if you go through one. I'd love to hear what you think. Cheers till next time, LJG | |||||||||||
