Hamilton (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter), Mercedes Lackey (too many series to list), Sherrilyn Kenyon (Dark Hunter series) In case no one noticed, I have a thing for vampires. My original stories are almost all vampire related. My vampires do not sparkle. They do have fangs. Yes, I read Twilight. Yes, I enjoyed it. No, I do not think Stephanie Meyer is a literary genius. Yes, I believe Alucard would kick Edward's butt up one side and down the other...and I would pay good money to see that happen. I don't write a whole lot of fanfiction, but if it helps to inspire my original works and stretch my creative muscles, I may do more of it. Update--apparently, I *do* write a lot of fanfic. The bug has bitten. That's okay, though, because I'm having a blast. Currently, I'm working on two main Hellsing fics, one of which I hope to complete soon so I can start working on my original fiction more.
